    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya motivasi siswa pada mata pelajaran SBdP di kelas 5B dikarenakan kegiatan pembelajaran yang monoton dan beragamnya keminatan siswa dalam pembelajaran seni. Melihat kondisi ini, peneliti mencoba meningkatkan motivasi siswa dengan menerapkan pendekatan SAVI atau Somatic Audio Visual Intellectual pada pelajaran SBdP. Dengan demikian, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeksripsikan: (1) pelaksanaan pembelajaran SBdP melalui pendekatan SAVI dalam rangka meningkatkan motivasi siswa. (2) Peningkatan motivasi siswa setelah diterapkannya pendekatan SAVI pada pelajaran SBdP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Taggart. Sebelum penelitian dilakukan diitemukan sebesar 62% siswa memiliki motivasi rendah untuk mengikuti pelajaran SBdP. Setelah diberikan tindakan pada siklus 1 terjadi peningkatan motivasi siswa sebesar 39% meningkat menjadi 62% yang termasuk kriteria baik. Dilanjutkan pada siklus 2 meningkat sebesar 29% menjadi 87% yang termasuk ke dalam kriteria sangat baik. Pada pelaksanaannya, peningkatan motivasi siswa berdampak pada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran SAVI dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa di kelas 5B di sekolah di Bandung.

    This research was based on the low motivation of students on Art and Culture subjects in class 5B due to the monotonous learning activities and the diversity of students in the learning of art. Seeing this condition, researchers try to improve students' motivation by applying SAVI or Somatic Audio Visual Intellectual learning approach to Art Culture lesson. Thus, the purpose of this study is to describe: (1) implementation of Art and Culture learning through SAVI approach in order to increase student motivation. (2) Increasing student motivation after applying SAVI approach on Art Cultured lesson. The research method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) developed by Kemmis and Taggart. Before the research, it was found 62% of students have low motivation to attend Art Cultured lesson. After the action is given in cycle 1, the students' motivation increased by 39% to 62%, which is good criteria. Continued on the 2nd cycle increased by 29% to 87% which belong to a very good category. In the implementation, increased motivation of students impact on improving student learning outcomes. It can be concluded that SAVI approach in learning can improve students' motivation in class 5B at school in Bandung.
