Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya fenomena pada peserta didik kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya yang berkaitan dengan karakteristik pengaturan diri dalam belajar (self-regulated learning) yang buruk. Hal tersebut ditandai dengan peserta didik bolos sekolah, bolos pada jam mata pelajaran, nilai di bawah KKM, dan remedial. Fenomena tersebut apabila dibiarkan dapat berdampak pada kegagalan akademik, seperti mendapat prestasi yang rendah, tidak dapat naik kelas, dan drop out. Pentingnya peserta didik memiliki karakteristik pengaturan diri dalam belajar (self-regulated learning) agar peserta didik mampu mandiri dan aktif pada kegiatan belajarnya, sehingga peserta didik dapat meraih keberhasilan akademis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik pengaturan diri dalam belajar (self-regulated learning) dan membuat rancangan layanan bimbingan belajar dalam meningkatkan serta mengembangkan pengaturan diri dalam belajar (self-regulated learning) peserta didik kelas X. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu 819 orang dengan sampel 268 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel acak (simple random sampling) dengan menggunakan tabel Krejtie dan Morgan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecenderungan umum karakteristik pengaturan diri dalam belajar (self-regulated learning) peserta didik kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya memiliki kategori baik, sedangkan kecenderungan setiap aspek pengaturan diri dalam belajar (self-regulated learning) peserta didik kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya menunjukkan tiga aspek yang memiliki kategori baik dan tiga aspek yang memiliki kategori buruk. Rancangan layanan bimbingan belajar pada penelitian karakteristik pengaturan diri dalam belajar (self-regulated learning) dibuat untuk meningkatkan aspek-aspek pengaturan diri dalam belajar (self-regulated learning) yang memiliki kategori buruk dan mengembangkan asek-aspek pengaturan diri dalam belajar (self-regulated learning) yang memiliki kategori baik. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperdalam ilmu pengetahuan terkait teori pembelajaran sosial dalam ranah Bimbingan dan Konseling, khususnya pada bidang akademik. Kata Kunci: Pengaturan diri dalam belajar (self-regulated learning), karakteristik pengaturan diri dalam belajar (self-regulated learning) This research is motivated by the phenomenon of students at X Grade SMK Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya, it deals with the poor of self-regulated learning characteristic. As the evidence, there were some students who did not come to school, skipping class, the score under passing grade, and lot of remedial. If the phenomenon are ignored, it will affect on academic failure, such as poor academic achievement, can’t continue to the next level/grade, and drop out. The importance of students having the characteristic of self-regulated are able to be independent and active in their learning activities, in order to get academic achievement. This research is motivated by the existence of phenomenon in class X students of SMK Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya which is related to bad self-regulated learning characteristic. The aim of the research is describing the characteristic of self-regulated learning and make the design of academic guidance services in improving and developing self-regulated learning of students at X grade. The research approach used quantitative approach through descriptive method. The population is 819 people with sample 268 people. Sampling technique using sample random sampling by Kretjie and Morgan table. The result of research showed that the general characteristic description of self-regulated learning of students at X grade SMK Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya having a good category, while the description of every aspect in self-regulated learning of students at X grade SMK Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya showed three aspects which having good category and three aspects having bad category. Design of academic guidance service on research of self-regulated learning is improving the aspects of self-regulated learning that having bad category and developing the aspects of self-regulated learning that having good category. The results of this research are expected to deepen the science of social learning theory related in the study of Guidance and Counseling, especially in the academic field.
