Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam menyusun kalimat tanya khususnya pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Hal ini ditunjukan bahwa masih banyak siswa yang belum memperoleh nilai memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) pada saat pembelajaran menyusun kalimat tanya atau pertanyaan. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada upaya peningkatan kemampuan menyusun kalimat tanya melalui penerapan strategi The Learning Cell. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran proses pembelajaran dengan menerapkan strategi The Learning Cell, dan peningkatan kemampuan menyusun kalimat tanya setelah menerapkan strategi The Learning Cell. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang mengadaptasi model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV B SDN Cibogo 207 Bandung yang berjumlah 29 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui test dan analisis observasi pembelajaran. Berdasarkan analisis terhadap hasil observasi dari setiap siklus, siswa menunjukan aktivitas yang positif terhadap pembelajaran dengan menggunakan strategi The Learning Cell. Hasil penilaian terhadap kemampuan siswa didapatkan data nilai rata-rata pada siklus I sebesar 76. Meningkat pada siklus II yaitu 92. Sedangkan ketuntasan belajar kelas untuk siklus I sebesar 69%. Meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 93%. Berdasarkan pada hasil tersebut, penerapan strategi The Learning Cell dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menyusun kalimat tanya siswa. ;---This research is motivated by the low ability of students in composing interrogative sentence especially in the subject of Indonesian language. It is incicated that there are still many students who get grades that do not meet the Minimum Criteria of Minimum Requirement (KKM) at the time of the composing interrogrative sentence or questions. This research is fosuced on improving the ability to composing sentence through the implementation of The Learning Cell strategy. The purpose of this study is to know the description of The Learning Cell process by applying the Learning Cell strategy, and increased ability to composing a sentence after the implementation of The Learing Cell strategy. The method use in this research is Clasrooom Action Research which adapted Kemmis and Mc. Taggart models. This research was conducted in two cycles. The subject of this study are students of grade IV B SDN Cibogo 207 Bandung, amounting to 29 people. Data collection is done through test and observation analysis of learning. Based on the analysis of the observation result of each cycle, student showed a positive activity on learning by using The Learning Cell strtaegy. The result of the assessment of student’ abilities got the average score data on the first cycle of 76. Increased in the second cycle is 92. While the completeness of class learning for the first cycle of 69%. Increased in the cycle II by 93%. Based on the result, the impelementation of The Learning Cell strategy can improve the ability of student to composing interrogative sentence.
