Abstract
ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh karakteristik tes keterampilan literasi sains menggunakan teori respon butir. Tes keterampilan literasi sains merupakan seperangkat tes yang mengukur sembilan aspek keterampilan literasi sains mengenai kemampuan yang berhubungan dengan mengenali dan menganalisis penggunaan metode inkuiri sebagai metode untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan secara ilmiah dan kemampuan yang berhubungan dalam mengorganisir, menganalisis dan menginterpretasi data kuantitatif dan informasi ilmiah. Teori respon butir dipilih karena tes yang dianalisis tidak bergantung pada jawaban responden. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian konstruksi dan validasi. Tahap kontruksi merupakan tahap pembuatan kisi-kisi tes hingga penulisan butir soal. Instrumen terdiri dari 33 butir soal yang telah mewakili seluruh aspek keterampilan literasi sains. Tahap selanjutnya yaitu tahap validasi yang mana instrumen tes divalidasi secara konten kepada tiga orang ahli, kemudian tes diuji validasi secara konstruk dengan cara diujikan kepada siswa. Sampel pada penelitian ini terdiri dari 80 siswa yang telah mempelajari materi suhu dan kalor yang dipilih dari dua sekolah di Bandung. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menggunakan teori respon butir maka model yang cocok untuk mengkarakteristik butir tes adalah model 3 parameter logistik. Karakteristik tes pada penelitian ini berupa reliabilitas, daya pembeda, tingkat kesukaran dan indeks tebakan semu. Reliabilitas tes pada penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa butir soal tes keterampilan literasi sains cocok diberikan pada siswa yang kemampuan sedang. Butir tes yang telah memenuhi daya pembeda, tingkat kesukaran dan indeks tebakan semu yang baik adalah 19 butir soal dari 33 butir soal yang mana 19 butir soal ini telah mewakili seluruh aspek keterampilan literasi sains yang diujikan. ;---The purpose of this study was to characterize the scientific literacy skill test using analysis item response theory. The scientific literacy skill test is a set of tests that measure the nine aspects of scientific literacy skills regarding the abilities associated with recognizing and analyzing the use of inquiry methods as a method for obtaining scientific knowledge and related abilities in organizing, analyzing and interpreting kuanitative data and scientific information. The response theory of the item was chosen because the test being analyzed did not depend on the respondent's answer. The research method used a quantitative approach with research design that is construction and validation. Construction phase is the stage of making the test grille until writing the item. The test consists of 33 items that have represented all aspects of scientific literacy skills. The next stage is the validation stage in which the test instrument is validated in content to three experts, then the test is tested by constructing the construct validation by means tested to the student. The sample in this study consisted of 80 students who had studied temperature and caloric material selected from two schools in Bandung. Based on the result of the analysis using grain response theory, the suitable model to characterize the test item is the 3 logistic parameter model. Characteristics of the test in this research are reliability, distinguishing factor, difficulty level and false guess. The reliability of the tests in this study indicates that the grain of scientific literacy skill test is suitable for measuring the ability of students who are. The test items that have satisfied differentiation, difficulty and good pseudo guess are 19 items from 33 items in which 19 of these questions have represented all aspects of the scientific literacy skills tested.
