Abstract
Fotografi sebagai salah satu cabang desain yang terus berkembang dari segi teknologi, teknik, tema dan sebagainya. Perkembangannya dirasakan semakin hari selalu berkembang dan inovatif. Perkembangan tersebut tidak menutup kemungkinan adanya pengaruh fotografer yang tetap konsisten dan mengembangkan. Salah satunya adalah Dr. Andang Iskandar, S.Pd, M.Ds., yang memiliki pengalaman dalam dunia fotografi seni maupun komersial. Karya stage photography dengan tajuk “Motion (e) Motion” merupakan salah satu prestasi beliau dalam karya fotonya. Berdasarkan ide, konsep tematik dan proses dalam karya ini menunjukkan totalitas untuk memvisualisasikan gerak Tari Minang Randai Minangkabau menjadi karya fotografi dengan konsep estetika Tari Minang yang memiliki tahapan gerak yaitu Alua, Patuik dan Raso-Pareso. Dengan menggunakan metode deskripsi analisis, disiplin ilmu dasar seni rupa dan estetika. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukannya karya fotografi yang berbeda dari biasanya, karena ada pendalaman konsep yang matang melalui proses kreatif, eksplorasi tema, teknik beserta eksekusi yang maksimal. Analisis visualisasi dari karya yang terpilih memiliki nilai estetika di dalamnya yang diwakili oleh setiap isi karya. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi sebuah acuan dalam perkembangan dunia fotografi maupun menjadi modal keilmuan untuk diterapkan dalam dunia pendidikan seni dan desain. Oleh karena itu, penulis sangat berharap jika selanjutnya ada penelitian lanjutan tentang kajian estetika fotografi ini. -------- Photography as one branch of design that continues to grow in terms of technology, techniques, themes and so forth. The development is felt every day is always growing and innovative. These developments do not rule out the existence of the influence of photographers who remain consistent and develop. One of them is Dr. Andang Iskandar, S. Pd, M.Ds., who has experience in the world of art and commercial photography. The work of stage photography with the headline "Motion (e) Motion" is one of his achievements in his photograph. Based on the idea, the thematic concept and the process in this work shows the totality to visualize Minang Dance Randai Minangkabau into photography with the aesthetic concept of Minang Dance which has the motion stages of Alua, Patuik and Raso-Pareso. Using the analytical description method, the basic disciplines of fine arts and aesthetics. Technique of collecting data by observation, interview, documentation and literature study. Based on the results of the study discovery of photographic work is different from usual, because there is a deepening of the concept through the creative process, exploration of themes, techniques and maximum execution. The visualization analysis of the selected work has an aesthetic value in it which is represented by each contents of the work. This research is expected to be a reference in the development of the world of photography and become a scientific capital to be applied in the world of art education and design. Therefore, the authors really hope if there is further research on this aesthetic study of photography.
