Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “pelatihan drum band dengan metode tutor sebaya di SMPN 3 Lembang”. Penelitian ini didasari oleh alasan tim drum band ini memiliki kualitas musik yang cukup baik. Selain mampu memainkan komposisi yang baik, drum band ini memiliki penampilan yang baik juga. Berbeda dengan drum band sekolah lainnya umumnya, drum band SMPN 3 Lembang ini digerakan oleh siswa itu sendiri, biarpun mereka memiliki pelatih akan tetapi proses pembelajaran mereka dengan bantuan tutor sebaya. Dengan bantuan tutor sebaya, siswa mampu memainkan musik secara bersama, gembira, serta mempunyai daya tarik sendiri. bahwa metode ini memang diterapkan. Berdasarkan observasi dibeberapa SMP di Lembang, drum band SMPN 3 ini, lebih cenderung menarik sehingga proses latihannya dilakukan dengan teman sebayanya. Ini yang menjadi kajian penelitian saya, mempelajari metode tutor sebaya pada data yang dituju yang diteliti di SMPN 3 Lembang. Pelatihan drum band dengan metode tutor sebaya di SMPN 3 Lembang, dengan tujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang proses pembelajaran metode tutor sebaya dalam pelatihan drum band di SMPN 3 Lembang secara sistematis, faktual, serta aktual mengenai objek yang dikaji. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, serta studi literatur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa siswa dapat lebih terampil dan mampu dengan adanya latihan drum band, dengan metode tutor sebaya tentunya sangat membantu pelatih dalam hal menyampaikan materi kepada siswa, dan adanya ketergantungan yang timbul dari siswa dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga terjadinya ketidak seriusan siswa dalam latihan drum band. ;---This study is entitled training "Drum Band with Peer Tutoring Methods at SMPN 3 Lembang". This study is based on the background that the drum band team in SMPN 3 Lembang has good quality in music. Not only being able to play good composition, the team was also having a good appearance. Unlike the drum band in any other schools, the drum band team at SMPN 3 Lembang is driven by the students themselves even though they have their own coach, but the learning process still going on with the help of peer tutoring. With the help of peer tutoring, the students are capable of playing music together, feeling happy, and gaining their own appeal. However, there is significance between the peer tutoring in general and the one being applied at SMPN 3 Lembang Drum Band team. This is the one which makes students react in the opposite direction. Based on observations in several secondary schools in Lembang, drum band SMPN 3 Lembang,is more likely to attract so his training process with their own peers. Thus, it becomes the focus of the study which is studying the peer tutor method on the data intended to be studied at SMPN 3 Lembang. Drum band training with peer tutoring methods at SMPN 3 Lembang, This research is aimed to provide a systematic, factual, and real-time image/explanation of the learning process of peer tutoring methods in training drum band at SMPN 3 Lembang. The data collected through the observation, interviews, documentation and literature studies.
