Abstract
Mutu pendidikan madrasah dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal, yaitu kepemimpinan kepala madrasah, iklim madrasah, partisipasi masyarakat, fasilitas pembelajaran dan kinerja mengajar guru. Fenomena yang terjadi penurunan minat masyarakat terhadap madrasah dan kondisi madrasah sebagai pendidikan kelas dua dibandingkan sekolah umum. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh informasi dan menganalisis lebih dalam mengenai pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala madrasah, iklim madrasah, partisipasi masyarakat, fasilitas pembelajaran, dan kinerja mengajar guru terhadap mutu pendidikan madrasah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis jalur (pathanalysis), dengan sampel sebanyak 137 Madrasah, dengan responden 353 guru. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala madrasah, partisipasi masyarakat, fasilitas pembelajaran, dan kinerja mengajar guru terhadap mutu pendidikan di Madrasah Aliyah di Provinsi Banten dipersepsi tinggioleh responden, kecuali iklim madrasah pada kategori sedang. Pengujian hipotesis menunjukan pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala madrasah, iklim madrasah, partisipasi masyarakat, fasilitas pembelajaran dan kinerja mengajar guru secara parsial dan simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap mutu pendidikan madrasah. Dalam hal ini kepemimpinan kepala madrasah merupakan variabel yang sangat menentukan dalam mutu pendidikan madrasah. Rekomendasi peningkatan mutu pendidikan madrasah aliyah dapat diupayakan dengan memperbaiki kinerja kepala madrasah dalam menjalin komunikasi dengan masyarakat, komunikasi internal dengan guru, dan memperkenalkan program madrasah secara lebih intensif. Those are; the leadership of Madrasah leader, school climate, teacher performance, learning facilities and community participations. Phenomenon that occurs in community is the lack of public interest to Madrasa. The purpose of this study is to obtain the information and to analyze deeply about the influence of Madrasa leadership, school climate, teacher performance and community participation to madrasa education. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. The analysis data uses path analysis with 137 Madrasa as samples, 353 teachers as respondents. The researcher concludes that madrasa leadership, school climate, teacher performance, learning facilities and community participation toward the quality of Aliyah Madrasa education in Banten province include to high category. The test of hypothesis shows that the influence of leadership madrasa, school climate, teaching performance, learning facilities and community participation partial and simultaneous give positive influence and it significant to the educational quality of madrasa. In this case, Madrasa leadership is a variable that is very decisive in educational quality of Madrasa. Based on that conclusion, so that it is proposed recommendation for the quality of improvement for Madrasa. The improvement quality of Aliyah Madrasa recommendation; it can be tried by fixing performance of madrasah leadership in establishing communication with the community, teacher internal communication and introducing madrasa program intensively.
