Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji dan mengidentifikasi pengaruh metode pembelajaran inquiry terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan moderator variabel motivasi belajar dan gaya belajar, di SMA N 1 Padang. Metode penelitian digunakan desain faktorial Between-Subject menggunakan Three Ways ANOVA. Ketuntasan kemampuan berpikir kreatif kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran inquiry dengan metode konvensional; 2) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada motivasi tinggi, sedang, dan rendah serta gaya belajar visual, audio, dan kinestetik; dan 3) terdapat interaksi metode pembelajaran, motivasi belajar dan gaya belajar terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif.;---This study aims to examine and identify the effect of inquiry learning methods on the ability to think creatively with a moderator of learning motivation and learning style variables, in SMA N 1 Padang. The research method used Factual Between-Subject design using Three Ways ANOVA. The exhaustiveness of the creative thinking ability of the experimental class is higher than the control class. The result of the research shows that 1) there was differences of creative thinking ability using inquiry method method with conventional method; 2) there was differences in creative thinking ability in high, medium, and low motivation as well as visual, audio, and kinesthetic learning styles; and 3) there was interaction of learning method, learning motivation and learning style to creative thinking ability.
