Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui fakta empirik interaksi antara gender yang diajar menggunakan Model Pendidikan Karakter berbasis “Games” terhadap tanggung jawab pada siswa kelas IV SD. Jenis penelitian menggunakan Quasi experiment berbentuk pretest – posttes group design dengan factorial 2x2. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Canden 1 dan 2 Boyolali Jawa Tengan. Besarnya Subyek penelitian adalah 45 orang terdiri dari 25 putra dan 20 putri . Tehnik pengumpulan data adalah menggunakan angket responsibility yang telah dikembangkan dari Hellison (1995) melalui instrument pertanyaan yang valid dan reliabel dengan Cronbach's Alpha : 0,921. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan Analisis 2 Faktor Univariate Anova dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 20. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut: Terdapat interaksi yang signifikan antara Model Pendidikan karakter berbasis “Games” dengan gender terhadap tanggung jawab siswa kelas IV SD. Gender laki-laki cenderung efektif menggunakan model pembelajaran TGT dengan hitungan rata-rata sebesar 80,417. Sedangkan gender perempuan cenderung efektif menggunakan model pembelajaran TGfU dengan hitungan rata-rata sebesar 69,385.;---This research is to know the empirical fact of interaction between the gender that is taught using Character Education Model based on "Games" on the responsibility of fourth grade students of Primary School . Method of this research using Quasi experiment in the form of pretest - posttes group design with factorial 2x2. The subjects of this research are fourth grade students of SDN Canden 1 and 2 at Boyolali in Central Java. The size of the research subjects were 45 people consisting of 25 boys and 20 girls. Data collection techniques are using questionnaire responsibility that has been developed from Hellison (1995) through a valid and reliable question instrument with Cronbach's Alpha: 0.921. The data analysis technique used in this research is by Analysis of 2 Univariate Anova Factor using SPSS version 20. Based on the research that has been done, the following conclusion is concluded: There is a significant interaction between Character Education Model based on "Games" with gender toward student responsibility Grade IV elementary school. Male gender tend to be effective using TGT learning model with an average count of 80,417. While female gender tends to be effective using TGfU learning model with average count of 69,385.
