Abstract

Pembelajaran seni tari, khususnya bentuk tari kelompok menuntut siswa untuk mampu mengendalikan dirinya baik dalam gerak maupun sikap ketika menari. Kenyataannya, di lapangan kemampuan self control siswa baik dalam gerak dan sikap ketika menari kelompok lebih sering diabaikan, sehingga siswa kurang dapat mengontrol gerak dan sikap saat menari secara berkelompok. Rumusan masalah yang ada dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana tingkat kemampuan self control siswa sebelum, proses dan setelah diterapkannya pembelajaran seni tari berbasis lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini Eksperimen dengan jenis Pre-Eksperimental (One Group Pretest-Posttest Only Design), karena penelitian ini tidak menggunakan kelas pembanding. Hasil penelitian di lapangan menunjukkan tingkat kemampuan self control siswa kelas VIII D di SMP Pasundan 2 Bandung mengalami peningkatan setelah diterapkannya pembelajaran seni tari berbasis lingkungan. Hasil uji analisis data yang didapatkan setelah dilakukan penghitungan data menunjukkan hasil bahwa thitung > ttabel dengan nilai thitung 34 lebih besar dibandingkan ttabel dengan nilai 1,694. Berdasarkan hasil penghitungan data tersebut, kesimpulan dari penelitian ini ialah pembelajaran seni tari berbasis lingkungan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan self control siswa. ;---Study about dance art, especially group dance demands student to be able to control themselves both moves and postures when dancing. In fact, the ability of controlling moves and postures often ignored by the student, which also affects when they dancing in group. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the student ability before, during and after the environment based dance art study is applied. Method employed in this research is an experiment with pre-experimental type (One group Pretest-posttest only design) without using comparator class. The result shows the ability level to in self control by student of 8th grade of Pasundan 2 Bandung junior high school is improving after the application the art of dance learning based on the environment. The result of data analysis test shows tcount > ttable with tcount is 34 point bigger than ttable with value 1,694 point. Based on the result, the conclusion of this research is Art of dance learning Based on the environment can improve the student ability of self control.
