    Abstract

    Penelitian ini merupakan suatu penelitian desain tentang mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis pemecahan masalah matematis dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran M-APOS pada materi perbandingan. Masalah yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini salah satunya adalah kesulitan belajar siswa yang dialami berkaitan dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis pada materi perbandingan. Oleh karena itu, peneliti perlu mengembangkan bahan ajar sebagai alternatif solusi untuk meminimalisir hambatan belajar siswa sehingga mempermudah siswa dalam memahami materi ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk bahan ajar berbasis pemecahan masalah matematis yang mampu mengatasi learning obstacle terkait konsep perbandingan dan menumbuhkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode design research. Penelitian desain ini terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu tahap persiapan (Preparation Design Phase), tahap eksperimen (Design Experiment) dan analisis (Restrospective Analiysis) berdasarkan hambatan belajar siswa yang dibuat menggunakan instrumen Hipothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII pada salah satu SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, wawancara, LKS, dan lembar observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa bentuk bahan ajar yang dirancang peneliti mampu mengurangi learning obstacle siswa dan dapat menumbuhkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa.;-- This research is a design research about lesson development based on mathematical problem solving through utilizing M-APOS learning model in topic of comparison. One of the background problems of this research is students’ difficulty in learning which is experienced by them related with the ability of solving problem mathematically in comparison topic. Therefore, the researcher needs to develop lesson as an alternative solution to minimize students’ learning difficulty in order to make students easier to acknowledge the material. This research aims to know the lesson based on mathematical problem solving which is able to solve learning obstacle related to comparison concept and emerge students’ ability in solving problem mathematically. This research is qualitative research with design research method. This design research is consisted of three phases, namely preparation design phase, design experiment, and retrospective analysis based on students’ learning difficulty which is designed by using hypothetical learning trajectory (HLT). The participant of this research is seventh graders in one of public Junior High Schools in West Bandung Regency. Meanwhile, the instrument used in this research are the test of students’ ability in solving problem mathematically, interview, students’ worksheet, and observation sheet. Based on the finding and discussion of the research result, it can be concluded that teaching material which is designed by the researcher is able to lessen students’ learning obstacle and emerge students’ ability in solving the problem mathematically.
