Fratiwi, Nuzulira Janeusse (2017) PENERAPAN DUAL-SITUATED LEARNING MODEL (DSLM) BERBANTUAN SIMULASI KOMPUTER UNTUK MENGURANGI KUANTITAS MISKONSEPSI SISWA KELAS X PADA MATERI HUKUM NEWTON. S1 thesis, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.
Abstract
melalui penerapan Dual-Situated Learning Model (DSLM) berbantuan simulasi komputer. Subjek
Newton.----------The misconception is one of the problem in education, either in physics education. Students’
misconceptions can obstruct students to understanding the concepts of physics further. Therefore,
necessary the research to reduce students’ misconceptions. Based on fact, there are misconceptions
on Newtons’ Laws amount 89,07%, so, necessary the research by employment Dual-Situated
Learning Model (DSLM) assisted computer simulations. The research subjects are 33 students at
one of Senior High School in Bandung. The method in this research is mixed-methods. Research
shows that implied DSLM assisted computer simulations gives the large effect to reduce the
quantity of students’ misconceptions with the value of effect size was 1.78. This is supported by
the higher percentage of students on Acceptable Change (AC) category as 38.13%. The
implication of DSLM assisted computer simulations was done very well with percentage the
implementation of teacher’ activity is 98.89% and students’ activity is 84.33%. Then it can be
concluded that the use of Dual-Situated Learning Model (DSLM) assisted computer simulations is
effective to unveil students’ misconceptions at grade X on Newton’s Laws.
