Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya sikap tanggung jawab individu siswa yang dinilai belum terlihat. Hal ini ditandai oleh temuan negatif selama kegiatan berkelompok, dimana siswa kurang berkontribusi dalam mengerjakan tugas kelompoknya. Sehingga untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut peneliti memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan tanggung jawab individu siswa kelas V sekolah dasar dengan menerapkan model kooperatif tipe Jigsaw. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan desain penelitian menggunakan model Kemmis dan Taggart sebanyak 2 siklus. Penelitian ini dilengkapi dengan alat pengumpulan data berupa hasil dokumentasi, lembar observasi dan catatan lapangan. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas V A sebanyak 25 orang terdiri dari 11 siswa perempuan dan 14 siswa laki-laki. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat terlihat bahwa persentase seluruh indikator pada siklus I dan siklus II mengalami peningkatan, seperti pada indikator pertama 55,00% menjadi 80,00%, indikator kedua sebesar 60,00% menjadi 92.50%, indikator ketiga sebesar 75,00% menjadi 95,00% dan indikator keempat sebesar 55,00% menjadi 95,00%. Selain itu terdapat pula peningkatan hasil persentase peningkatan seluruh indikator sebesar 61% menjadi 91% atau sebesar 30%. Berdasarkan uraian di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dapat meningkatkan sikap tanggung jawab individu siswa di kelas V sekolah dasar.;---This research is motivated by the burden of students’ individual responsibility which considered not yet to be seen. This is acknowledged by the negative findings during some group activities, where students are lacking in the group work assignments. Therefore, to overcome the problem the researcher has an aim to improve the individual responsibility of the 5th graders of elementary school by implementing the Jigsaw type cooperative model. The type of research used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the research design of Kemmis and Taggart model as many as 2 cycles. This research is equipped with the instruments to collect the data such as documentation, observation sheet and field notes. The participants of this research are 25 students from class V A, consisting of 11 female students and 14 male students. From the research which has been done, it can be identified that the percentage of all indicators in cycle 1 and cycle 2 is increasing, as in the first indicator from 55.00% to 80.00%, in the second indicator from 60.00% to 92.50%, in the third indicator from 75.00% to 95.00% and in the fourth indicator from 55.00% to 95.00%. In addition, there is also an escalation in the percentage of all indicators from 61% to 91% or as much as 30%. Based on the elaboration above, it can be concluded that applying Jigsaw type cooperative model in the teaching and learning process can improve individual responsibility of the 5th graders of elementary school.
