Abstract

Penelitian ini di latarbelakanggi oleh rendahnya percaya diri siswa,berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan. Hal ini dimungkinkan karena pembelajaran selalu berpusat kepada guru, sultinya berbicara dan mengemukakan pendapat. Sehubungan dengan itu untuk meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa maka di upayakan melalui pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe student teams achievement division (STAD). Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe student teams achievement division(STAD) untuk meningkatkan percaya diri siswa kelas III-b SDN. GK di Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas III-b salah satu sekolah dasar di kecamatan Sukasari, dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 39 orang yang terdiri dari 23 laki-laki dan 16 perempuan. Alat pengumpul data adalah lembar observasi percaya diri siswa, lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa penerapan STAD dapat meningkatkan percaya diri siswa selama proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menjadi salah satu bukti keberhasilan dari penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dalam meningkatkan percaya diri siswa. ;---The background of this research is low of students’ confidence based on the earlier study result. Probably, this thing caused of learning was always centered to teacher, difficult to spoke and difficult to convey their ideas. Correlation with that, to increase students’ confidence, so this research is trying to implementing a learning by using cooperative model with student teams achievement division (STAD). The aim of this research is describe the implementaion of cooperative model with student teams achievement division (STAD). Aim of this research is 1) Designing the plan of cooperative learning with students team achievement division (STAD) type to improving the confidence of students grade 3rd – b. 2) Describing the process of cooperative learning with students team achievement division (STAD) type to improving the confidence of students grade 3rd – b. 3) Analyzing the increase of students of grade 3rd – b’ confidence after implementing coopervatif model with students team achievement division (STAD) type to increase students’ confidence in 3rd of Elementary School GK Bandung. Method of this research is classroom action research on students grade 3rd – b in one school at Sukasari Subsdistric. Number of student is 39 students with 23 male and 16 female. Instruments of this research are observation of students’ confidence sheet, observation of teacher and students’ activity sheet, anectode note, and documentation. Result of this research is proved that implementing of STAD can increase students’s confidence as long the process of learning. This research to be one success proof of implementing cooperative learning model with STAD type to increase students’ confidence.
