Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan pada dimensi Library as Place yaitu ruangan layanan dewasa yang tidak memadai dan dimensi Information Control seperti pendataan koleksi tidak berjalan dengan baik serta tidak adanya bimbingan pemustaka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi layanan dewasa pada Dispusipda Jabar. Permasalahan umum yang dikaji pada penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana pelaksanaan layanan dewasa pada Dispusipda Jabar menurut Libqual+TM. Permasalahan khusus diantaranya yaitu 1) Bagaimana kemampuan dan sikap pustakawan dalam melayani (Affect of Service) pada layanan dewasa di Dispusipda Jabar; 2) Bagaimana kualitas informasi dan akses informasi (Information Control) pada layanan dewasa di Dispusipda Jabar; 3) Bagaimana fasilitas dan suasana ruang perpustakaan (Library as Place) pada layanan dewasa di Dispusipda Jabar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah accidental sampling dengan jumlah sampel 100 orang. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan kualitas layanan dewasa menurut Libqual+TM berada dalam kategori baik. Secara khusus hasil penelitian menunjukan dimensi Affects of Service berada dalam kategori baik, dimensi Information Control berada dalam kategori baik dan dimensi Library as Place berada dalam kategori sangat baik. ;---This study is motivated by the problems in the Library as Place dimension that is inadequate adult service room and Information Control dimension, such as: collecting data collection is not going well and lack of user guidance. This study aims to evaluate adult service in Dispusipda Jabar. The general problem studied is “How is the implementation of adult service in Dispusipda Jabar according to Libqual +TM. Specific problems include: 1) How is the ability and attitude of the librarian in serving (Affect of Service) in adult service in Dispusipda Jabar; 2) How is the quality of information and information access (Information Control) in adult service in Dispusipda Jabar; 3) How is the facility and atmosphere of library room (Library as Place) in adult service in Dispusipda Jabar. This study uses quantitative approach with descriptive method. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling with 100 samples. Data processing techniques using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Data collection techniques were conducted by using questionnaire. The study results show that the quality of adult service according to Libqual +TM is in good category. Specifically, the study results show that the Affects of Service dimension is in good category, Information Control dimension is in good category and the Library as Place dimension is in very good category.
