    Abstract

    Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya mengembangkan keterampilan
    memaafkan peserta didik korban perundungan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk
    memperoleh gambaran kecenderungan memaafkan peserta didik korban
    perundungan kelas VIII SMP Negeri 40 Bandung dan melalui keterampilan
    memaafkan diharapkan dapat mengurangi bahkan menghilangkan dampak
    perundungan. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan
    metode deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling,
    sebanyak 121 korban perundungan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan
    kecenderungan memaafkan peserta didik korban perundungan kelas VIII SMP
    Negeri 40 Bandung berada pada kategori sedang. Temuan ini menjadi landasan
    untuk merancang program bimbingan pribadi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan
    memaafkan.----------The background to the research is the importance of developing forgiveness skills
    among learners who are victims of bullying. The research aims to obtain a
    description of the tendency to forgive among the eighth grade learners who are
    victims of bullying at SMP Negeri 40 Bandung and through forgiveness skills it is
    expected that the impacts of bullying can be reduced and even eliminated. It
    adopted the quantitative approach with a descriptive method. Sample was taken
    with purposive sampling technique, resulting in as many as 121 victims of
    bullying. The findings show the tendency of the eighth grade students of SMP
    Negeri 40 Bandung who were bullying victims to forgive was at the medium
    category. This finding forms the basis for designing a personal guidance program
    to improve forgiveness skills.
