Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh anggapan pendekatan saintifik berdampak pada sikap ilmiah siswa. Hasil pengamatan menunjukan sikap ilmiah siswa rendah. Pendekatan saintifik dengan quantum teaching diharapkan pembelajaran dapat menyenangkan bagi siswa serta menjadi solusi meningkatkan sikap ilmiah khususnya pada pembelajaran IPA. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan setting quantum teaching dalam meningkatkan sikap ilmiah pada pembelajaran IPA siswa SD dan mendeskripsikan peningkatan sikap ilmiah. Penelitian menggunakan Metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart dengan dua siklus dan setiap siklusnya terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan, siklus I dari 23 siswa yang hadir 8 siswa memilih emotikon sangat senang, 11 siswa memilih senang, dan 4 siswa memilih ekspresi datar. Siklus II, dari 25 siswa yang hadir 13 siswa memilih sangat senang, 11 siswa memilih senang, dan 1 siswa memilih ekspresi datar. Sikap ilmiah rata-rata siswa siklus I sebesar 52,50% dan siklus II meningkat menjadi 69,25%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu keterlaksanaan penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan setting quantum teaching, pembelajaran dimulai dari mengamati dan menanya dikolaborasikan dengan tumbuhkan, mengumpulkan informasi dikolaborasikan dengan alami, namai, dan demontrasikan, mengolah informasi dikolaborasikan dengan ulangi, dan rayakan, dilanjutkan pada tahap observasi dan refleksi.----------This research is conducted by scientific approach that has an impact on the scientific students’ terminology. The research showed that students’ scientific terminology is low. Scientific approach with quantum teaching was expected that the study could be fun for the students and can help elevate the scientific terminology especially in science learning. The aim of this research was to explain the feasibility of scientific approach application with quantum teaching setting to elevate Primary students’ terminology attitude in science learning and to explain the elevation of scientific terminology. This research was conducted with Kemmis and Mc Taggart class action research method. The method used two cycles which each cycle consisted of planning, conducting, observing, and reflecting. The result of first cycle showed eight from 23 students chose “very happy” emoticon, 11 students chose “happy”, and 4 students chose “Flat expression”. The second cycle13 from 25 students chose “very happy”, 11 chose “happy, and one chose “flat expression. The average of first cycle was 52,50%. While the second cycle elevated to 69,25%. The result of the research is the feasibility of scientific approach application with quantum teaching. Learning began with observing and asking. Then they were combined with boosting, collecting information, collaborated naturally with naming and demonstrating. The information was collaborated with repeating and celebrating then they proceeded to observation and reflection stage.
