Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya self efficacy akademik peserta didik, serta munculnya berbagai perilaku yang menunjukkan kecenderungan kecemasan ujian siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self efficacy akademik dengan tingkat kecemasan menghadapi ujian siswa kelas XI MA Al-Inayah Bandung Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode korelasional. Populasi berjumlah 158 peserta didik, semua anggota populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian agar generalisasi dengan kesalahan yang sangat kecil. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil penyebaran instrumen yang terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu self efficacy akademik dan kecemasan menghadapi ujian siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) self efficacy akademik siswa berada pada kategori agak yakin (2) kecemasan menghadapi ujian siswa berada pada kategori sedang (3) kategori korelasi menunjukkan rendah dengan arah negatif Rekomendasi sebagai tindak lanjut penelitian diarahkan kepada upaya meningkatkan self efficacy akademik untuk mereduksi tingkat kecemasan menghadapi ujian siswa.;---This research is motivated by the low academic self-efficacy of students, as well as the emergence of some behaviors that indicate a tendency on student’s test anxiety. This study aims to determine the relationship between academic self efficacy and the levels of test anxiety of eleventh graders in MA Al-Inayah Bandung in the academic year of 2016/2017. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach and the correlation. The population consists of 158 students, all members of the population used as a sample of the study so the generalization would have very few errors. The data were obtained from the results of the instrument spreading consists of two variables: academic self-efficacy and students’ test anxiety. The results showed that (1) students ' academic self-efficacy is in the category of ‘rather confident’ (2) students' test anxiety is in middle category (3) correlation coefficient it shows a low correlation with negative direction means that there is a relationship between academic self efficacy and test anxiety. Recommendation as a research follow-up is directed at improving academic self-efficacy to reduce the level of students’ test anxiety.
