Abstract
Aksesibilitas website adalah mudahnya akses website oleh semua orang sehingga informasi dari website tersebut dapat mudah dipahami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aksesibilitas website perguruan tinggi dengan menganalisis masalah aksesibilitas website berdasarkan pedoman WCAG 2.0. Penelitian ini menganalisis 13 website Perguruan Tinggi Negeri di Jawa Barat, Indonesia dengan menggunakan alat evaluasi TAW. Hasil evaluasi disajikan dalam grafik yang menunjukkan tingkat kesalahan dari setiap website perguruan tinggi. Kesalahan-kesalahan yang sama hampir terjadi pada seluruh website diantaranya: konten non-teks, info dan hubungan, judul halaman, tujuan tautan, bahasa di halaman, saat memasukkan data, label dan intruksi, penguraian, dan kriteria nama, peran, nilai. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi bagi universitas dan dijadikan pedoman untuk perbaikan aksesibilitas website.;---ABSTRACT Website accessibility is the simple way to access a website by everyone so that information on the website can be easily understood. This study purposes to improve the accessibility of universities website to analyze website accessibility problems based WCAG 2.0 guidelines. This study analyzed 13 universities websites in West Java, Indonesia by using TAW as an evaluation tool. The evaluation results are presented in a graph showing the error rate of each universities website. The same errors occur in almost all websites are: non-text content, information and relationships, tittle of the page, link’s destination, language of page, entering data, labels and instructions, parsing, name criteria, role, and value. This study is expected to provide information to the university and can be used as guidelines for website accessibility improvements.
