Abstract

Kurikulum 2013 mensyaratkan penggunaan penilaian autentik sebagai penilaian hasil belajar peserta didik. Akan tetapi penggunaan penilaian autentik masih jarang digunakan dan belum optimal. Guru masih cenderung terfokus pada penilaian berupa tes tertulis. Asesmen portofolio merupakan bagian dari penilaian autentik yang dianjurkan penerapannya dalam Kurikulum 2013. Asesmen portofolio yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah portofolio perkembangan. Portofolio perkembangan dapat menunjukan perkembangan siswa dari waktu ke waktu ketika proses pembelajaran. Penerapan asesmen portofolio ini dilakukan dalam tiga kali pertemuan dalam pembelajaran pada materi Gaya dan Gerak. Perkembangan siswa yang dapat diketahui antara lain pemahaman konsep dan sikap siswa terhadap Fisika. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana dampak asesmen portofolio terhadap pemahaman konsep dan sikap siswa terhadap Fisika. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada satu kelas eksperimen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII pada salah satu SMP Negeri di Kota Bandung. Instrumen asesmen portofolio siswa berupa tugas mandiri dan tugas proyek. Pemahaman konsep siswa dievaluasi menggunakan instrumen berupa tes objektif pilihan ganda, sedangkan sikap siswa diukur dengan instrumen angket Test of Science Related Attitudes (TOSRA). Pemahaman konsep dalam penelitian ini termasuk dalam domain ranah kognitif tingkatan kedua mengacu pada taksonomi Bloom Revisi menurut Anderson & Krathwohl yang meliputi 7 proses-proses kognitif antara lain: menafsirkan, mencontohkan, mengklasifikasikan, merangkum, menyimpulkan, membandingkan, dan menjelaskan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan asesmen portofolio dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa dan sikap siswa terhadap Fisika secara signifikan. Selain itu asesmen portofolio dapat memberikan gambaran rekam jejak siswa selama proses pembelajaran melalui tugas mandiri dan tugas proyek siswa. Kata Kunci: Asesmen Portofolio, Pemahaman Konsep, Penilaian Autentik, Sikap terhadap Fisika Curriculum of 2013 requires the use of authentic assessment as learning assessment outcomes from students. However, the use of authentic assessment still rarely used and it is not optimal. Teachers tend to focus on assessment in form of a written test. Assessment of portfolio is part an authentic assessment that recommended to be implemented in Curriculum of 2013. Assessment of portfolio is assessment method based on result of students' work in certain period of time that shows the development and improvement of students’ ability during learning process. Development of students can be seen on students' understanding of concepts and attitudes towards physics. Therefore, this study aims to determine the extent of impact portfolio assessment to students' understanding of concepts and attitudes towards physics. This research was conducted at an experimental class. The samples in this study are students’ of VIII grade at one of Junior High School in Bandung. Instruments that used in form of students’ portfolio assessment, they are independent task and project assignment. Students’ concepts understanding were evaluated use the instrument in form of objective test or multiple choices, while students' attitudes were measured by using questionnaires of Test of Science Related Attitudes (TOSRA). Students’ concepts understanding in this research is included in cognitive domain at second level refers to the Revised Bloom's taxonomy by Anderson & Krathwohl, they are seven of cognitive processes include: interpreting, exemplifying, classifying, summarizing, inferring, comparing, and explaining. The results of research show that portfolio assessment can enhance students' understanding of concepts and attitudes towards physics significantly. Beside that, portfolio assessment can give description of students’ track record during learning process.
