Abstract

Pendidikan tinggi bidang kesehatan harus menghasilkan lulusan tenaga kesehatan yang kompeten berstandar Nasional bahkan Internasional untuk berperan serta menyelesaikan masalah-masalah klinis. Kemampuan memecahkan masalah akan mendorong pengembangan keterampilan berpikir, salah satunya Kemampuan Generik Medis (KGM). Tujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan program perkuliahan Mikrobiologi berbasis problem solving, dalam meningkatkan Kemampuan Generik Medis (KGM) mahasiswa kebidanan, dengan menggunakan desain Research and Development (R & D). Desain penelitian terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu: 1) tahap perancangan dan pengembangan, 2) tahap uji coba dan perbaikan, dan 3) tahap implementasi program atau pengujian. Implementasi program dilakukan pada mahasiswa kebidanan tingkat pertama semester dua, salah satu STIKes di Jawa Barat, tahun akademik 2015/2016 sebanyak 32 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya korelasi dan kontribusi yang signifikan pada taraf uji 5%, antara pelaksanaan model problem solving dengan kemampuan berpikir logis, KGM, dan hasil belajar Mikrobiologi mahasiswa. Pada mahasiswa kelompok bawah penerapan model problem solving berkorelasi signifikan pada taraf uji 1% terhadap kemampuan berpikir logis, KGM, dan nilai hasil belajar Mikrobiologi mahasiswa. Pada mahasiswa kelompok sedang, hanya pasangan kemampuan berpikir logis dengan KGM, dan KGM dengan hasil belajar Mikrobiologi, yang berkorelasi signifikan pada taraf uji 1%. Pada mahasiswa kelompok atas hanya pasangan model problem solving dengan kemampuan berpikir logis, model problem solving dengan hasil belajar Mikrobiologi, serta kemampuan berpikir logis dengan hasil belajar Mikrobiologi, yang berkorelasi signifikan pada taraf uji 1%. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa model problem solving meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir logis, KGM, dan nilai akhir mata kuliah Mikrobiologi, baik pada mahasiswa kelompok bawah, sedang dan atas.;--- Higher education in health must produce graduates qualified healthcare professional national and even international standards to participate resolve clinical issues. Problem-solving skills will drive the development of thinking skills, one of which is the Medical Generic ability (KGM). The purpose of research is to develop a program of Microbiology lecture-based problem solving, in improving the KGM midwifery students, using the design of Research and Development (R & D). The study design consisted of three stages, namely: 1) the design and development stage, 2) stage of the trial and improvement, and 3) program implementation or testing. Implementation of the program is done on a first-level midwifery students the second semester, one STIKes in West Java, the academic year 2015/2016 a total of 32 students. The results showed a correlation and a significant contribution to the test level of 5%, the implementation of a model of problem solving with the ability to think logically, KGM, and Microbiology student learning outcomes. In the group of students under the application of problem solving models significantly correlated at test level of 1% of the ability to think logically, KGM, and the value of Microbiology student learning outcomes. In the group of students being only a couple ability to think logically with KGM and KGM with learning outcomes Microbiology, which correlates significant at test level of 1%. In the group of students on the only pair model of problem solving with logical thinking skills, problem solving models with learning outcomes Microbiology, as well as the ability to think logically to the learning outcomes of Microbiology, which correlates significant at test level of 1%. From these results it can be concluded that the model of problem solving increases the ability to think logically, KGM, and the final value of Microbiology courses, both in the bottom group of students, middle and upper.
