Abstract

Salah satu hakikat sains adalah proses, hal ini penting untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran, karena dapat melatih kemampuan kognitif dan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Kemampuan kognitif dan keterampilan proses sains perlu dilatih kepada siswa, karena hal itu merupakan tuntutan dari Standar Kompetensi Lulusan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran IPA terpadu model webbed terhadap kemampuan kognitif dan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode rancangan weak experimental tipe one group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian dilakukan di salah satu SMP Negeri di Kota Bandung dengan 25 orang siswa kelas VII H sebagai sampel. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah soal pretest dan posttest kemampuan kognitif dan rubrik gradasi untuk menilai keterampilan proses sains siswa pada Lembar Kerja Siswa. Hasil pretest dan posttest kemampuan kognitif siswa dianalisis menggunakan uji paired t-test didapat nilai signifikansi 0,000 pada sig. (2-tailed), hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran IPA terpadu model webbed berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan kognitif siswa. Hasil perolehan skor keterampilan proses sains siswa pada pertemuan pertama, kedua, dan ketiga juga dianalisis menggunakan uji paired t-test dan diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 pada sig. (2-tailed), hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran IPA terpadu model webbed secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa. ;---- One of the nature of science is a process, it is important to apply in learning, because it can train students' cognitive abilities and science process skills. Cognitive ability and science process skills need to be trained to the students, because it is the demands of Graduate Competency Standards. This study aims to determine the influence of scientific approach in integrated science teaching webbed model on cognitive abilities and science process skills of students. This study uses a weak experimental design type of the one-group pretest-posttest design. The study was conducted in one of the Junior High School in Bandung with 25 students of class VII H as a sample. The research instrument used is a matter of pretest and posttest cognitive abilities and grading rubrics to assess students’ science process skills on the Student Worksheet. Pretest and posttest results of students' cognitive abilities were analyzed using paired t-test obtained significant value of 0.000 at sig. (2-tailed), it indicates that the scientific approach in integrated science teaching webbed model affect the increase students' cognitive abilities. The result of the acquisition of students’ science process skills scores in the first, second, and third meeting was also analyzed using a paired t-test and obtained significance value of 0.000 at sig. (2-tailed), it indicates that the scientific approach in integrated science teaching webbed model can significantly improve students’ science process skills.
