Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pencapaian dan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran model Treffinger dan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran biasa, menganalisis perbedaan kepercayaan diri antara siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran model Treffinger dan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran biasa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IX salah satu SMP Negeri di Kota Pekanbaru yang terdiri dari dua kelas yakni 35 siswa diberi pembelajaran model Treffinger dan 36 siswa pembelajaran biasa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : (1)npencapaian kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran model Treffinger lebih tinggi secara signifikan daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran biasa. (2) peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran model Treffinger lebih tinggi secara signifikan daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran biasa. (3) pencapaian kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran model Treffinger lebih tinggi secara signifikan daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran biasa. (4) peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran model Treffinger lebih tinggi secara signifikan daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran biasa. (5) kepercayaan diri siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran model Treffinger lebih tinggi secara signifikan daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran biasa ----------- This research's goal is to analyze the achievement and enhancement of mathematical communication ability and creative thinking ability between students who receive Treffinger model learning and students who receive regular learning, analyze the differences of self-confidence between students who receive Treffinger model learning and students who receive regular learning. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The research's subjects are the grade 9th students at one of state junior high school in Pekanbaru that consists of two classes which are 35 students was given Treffinger model learning and the other 36 students was given regular learning. The results showed that: (1) the achievement of students’ mathematical communication ability who receive Treffinger model learning is significantly higher than students who receive regular learning. (2) the enhancement of students’ mathematical communication ability who receive Treffinger model learning is significantly higher than students who receive regular learning. (3) the achievement of students’ mathematical creative thinking ability who receive Treffinger model learning is significantly higher than students who receive regular learning. (4) the enhancement of students’ mathematical creative thinking ability who receive Treffinger model learning is significantly higher than students who receive regular learning. (5) self-confidence of students who receive Treffinger model learning is significantly higher than students who receive regular learning
