Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran yang mendalam tentang pembelajaran dalam menumbuhkan ecoliteracy pada anak usia dini. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, catatan lapangan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, 3 orang guru, anak TK kelompok B. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data kualitatif dengan teknik grounded theory. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan kegiatan dilakukan secara terintegrasi, ada perencanaan tahunan, semesteran, mingguan dan harian. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dilakukan dengan pembiasaan mencintai lingkungan dengan mengintegrasikan ke dalam pembelajaran ecoliteracy, kegiatan keagamaan dan cinta budaya. Penilaian dilakukan melalui unjuk kerja dan observasi. Sikap ecoliteracy yang nampak pada anak usia dini diantaranya membuang sampah, mencuci tangan, menanam biji, menutup keran sesudah digunakan, memungut sampah, memilah kertas untuk dibuang atau dipakai kembali. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pembelajaran berasal dari faktor internal dan eksternal. Rekomendasi untuk peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan untuk meneliti persepsi guru terkait ecoliteracy anak usia dini. ---------- The research aims to gain an in depth description of the teaching and learning in growing young children’s ecoliteracy. The techniques of data collection consisted of observation, field notes, interview, and documentation. The subjects included the school principal, three teachers, and Group B Kindergarten’s children. The data were analysed qualitatively, employing the techniques of grounded theory. The findings show that the planning of activities has been done with integration, where there are annual planning, semester, weekly, and daily planning. The teaching and learning is done through the habituation of loving the environment, integrated into the teaching and learning of ecoliteracy, religious activities, and the activities promoting the love for the culture. The assessment was done through demonstreation and observation. The ecoliteracy attitudes observes in young children are, among others, throwing the trash on the right place, washing hands, planting seeds, turning off the water tap after use, picking up trash and sorting used paper to be reused and dumped. The factors influencing the teaching and learning include the external and internal ones. It is recommended that future researchers will conduct research on teachers’ perceptions of ecoliteracy for young children.
