Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh mental imagery terhadap hasil belajar renang gaya dada yang meliputi, hasil belajar psikomotor, hasil belajar kognitif dan hasil belajar afektif siswa, untuk hasil belajar afektif siswa, aspek yang dikembangkan adalah khusus tingkat percaya diri siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan quasi eksperiment yaitu nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas V SDN 009 Kuala Terusan, Kabupaten Pelalawan yang berjumlah 113 orang siswa dan untuk pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling, sampel dipilih menjadi dua kelompok, sebanyak 16 orang untuk kelompok eksprimen dan 16 orang untuk kelompok kontrol. Kognitif siswa diukur dengan tes tertulis, psikomotor menggunakan lembar observasi dan afektif siswa diukur dengan menggunakan angket, ketiga instrumen tersebut telah diuji dan memiliki validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis data menggunakan Software SPSS Serie 16 dengan tahapan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas data dan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa. 1) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan mental imagery terhadap hasil belajar psikomotor siswa. 2) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan mental imagery terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa 3) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan mental imagery terhadap hasil belajar afektif siswa.;---The research aims to examine the effect of mental imagery towards Learning Outcome of swimming breaststroke such as psychomotoric outcome, cognitive outcome, affective outcome. For the affective outcome, the subject especially developed is student’s confidence. The research method used is quasi eksperiment -- nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Population in this research is 113 students of Elementary School class 5 at SDN 009 Kuala Terusan, Pelalawan Regency. Sampling method used is simple random sampling. Sample is seperated into two groups, 16 students is in the experimental group and 16 other students in the controlled group. The cognitive ability of the students is measured by written test, psychomotoric ability by observation checklist, and affective ability by questionnaire, in which all instruments have been tested and have validity and reliability. Data Analysis uses Software SPSS Serie 16 with Normality Test, Data Homogenity Test, and Test-T. The result shows that. 1) There is significant effect of mental imagery toward student’s psychomotoric learning outcome. 2) There is significant effect of mental imagery toward student’s cognitive learning outcome 3) There is significant effect of mental imagery toward student’s affective learning outcome.
