Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kreatif atau kreativitas merupakan satu dari empat kompetensi baru yang dibutuhkan pada abad 21. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa perlu dikembangkan. Salah satu tujuan mata pelajaran Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi adalah dapat mengembangkan kemampuan kreatif siswa. Guru dituntut untuk menerapkan metode dan model pembelajaran secara efektif agar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Masalah pokok dalam penelitian ini adalah “Bagaimana efektivitas model Think Talk Write (TTW) terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada mata pelajaran Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) Kelas VIII SMP?”. Secara lebih khusus rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif aspek keterampilan berpikir lancar (fluency), keterampilan berpikir luwes (flexibility), keterampilan berpikir orisinil/asli (originality), dan keterampilan berpikir merinci (elaboration) yang signifikan pada siswa yang menggunakan model Think Talk Write (TTW) dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menggunakan model konvensional pada mata pelajaran Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Desain. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes uraian non ojektif. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Cluster Sampling. Hasil penelitian ini secara umum menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada mata pelajaran Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) di SMP Negeri 1 Bandung. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional pada mata Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK).;---Creative thinking skill or creativity is one of four new competencies needed in the 21st Century. creative thinking skills of students need to be developed. One of the goals of subjects Information and Communication Technology is able to develop creative thingking skill of students. Teachers are supposed to apply the methods and models of effective learning in order to improve students' creative thinking skill. The main issue of this research is “How does the effectiveness of Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model toward the improvement of student’s creativity thinking skill in subjects Information Communication and Technology (ICT) against 8th grade students of Junior High School?”. More specifically, the research problems of this study is there any enhancement in student’s creativity thinking skill in fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration aspects significantly in students which uses Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model compared with students which uses conventional learning model in subjects Information Communication and Technology (ICT)? The method used in this research is quasi-experimental method with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Instrument that used in this research is non objective essay test. The sampling technique in this research using Cluster Sampling. The general result of the research shows that the application of Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model effectively used to enhance student’s creativity thinking skills in subjects Information Communication and Technology at 8th grade students of SMPN 1 Bandung. This is evidenced by an enhancement in creativity thinking skills significantly in students which uses Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model compared with students which uses conventional learning model in subjects Information Communication and Technology (ICT).
