Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil penelitian Aprianti (2013) salah satunya mengenai learning obstacle yang dialami siswa dalam mempelajari materi relasi dan fungsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan membuat desain didaktis pembelajaran materi relasi dan fungsi yang dapat meminimalisasi learning obstacle yang ada. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi literatur, studi pendahuluan dan studi lapangan. Secara khusus, pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan melaksanakan tes, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan empat buah lesson design terkait materi relasi dan fungsi. Keempat lesson design tersebut disusun berdasarkan learning obstacle yang telah teridentifikasi sebelumnya terkait materi relasi dan fungsi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa desain ini dapat mengatasi learning obstacle yang terjadi sehingga desain ini dapat menjadi salah satu rekomendasi bahan ajar pada pembelajaran materi relasi dan fungsi.;---This research is motivated by the previous research done by Aprianti (2013) regarding learning obstacles experienced by students in the topics of relation and function. Aim of this research is to assess and construct a didactical design of learning in the topics of relation and function to minimize the learning obstacles. The method used in this research is a qualitative method using data collection techniques consisted of literature studies, preliminary studies, and field studies. Specifically, the data in this research was collected through written test, interview, observation, and documentation. Four lesson designs of relation and function material were constructed for this research. These lesson designs were constructed based on the learning obstacles that had been identified previously. This research concluded that this design minimized learning obstacle, therefore the design gives an example of alternative teaching instruction in the topics of relation and function.
