    Abstract

    Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang penerapan model pembelajaran levels of inquiry pada materi fluida statis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran apakah literasi sains siswa meningkat atau tidak setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran LoI pada materi fluida statis. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Purwakarta dengan metode eksperimen semu dan desain randomized pretest-posttest control group. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X yang terdiri dari dua kelas dengan jumlah 60 orang siswa yang dibagi kedalam kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang masing-masing jumlahnya 30 orang. Kelas eksperimen mendapatkan perlakuan berupa pembelajaran dengan model levels of inquiry, sedangkan kelas kontrol mendapatkan perlakuan berupa pembelajaran dengan model demonstrasi interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan literasi sains siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan model levels of inquiry lebih tinggi dibanding peningkatan literasi sains siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan demonstrasi interaktif pada semua aspek yang mencakup aspek kompetensi dan aspek sikap.;--- Application of levels of inquiry (LoI) learning model research has been done. The aim of this research was to obtain information whether scientific literacy in high school students as the effects of the application LoI model on fluid statics increase or not. This research was done in a senior high school in Purwakarta, using a quasi-experimental methods and randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The subject of this research was 60 students of grade X consist of two classes who were divided into experimental class (30 students) and control class (30 students). While experimental class was taught the levels of inquiry and control class was taught interactive demonstration. The results showed that the improve of scientific literacy students who taught by levels of inquiry (LoI) model higher than students who taught with interactive demonstration model at all aspects that include competencies and attitude.
