Abstract
Menulis puisi seringkali menjadi masalah yang dialami siswa dalam pembelajaran. Siswa sering mengalami kesulitan untuk berimajiansi dan menentukan objek penulisan. Berangkat dari permasalahan yang muncul, penulis mengujicobakan strategi imajinasi dengan eksplorasi benda untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini, yaitu: 1) mengetahui kemampuan siswa menulis puisi sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan strategi imajinasi dengan eksplorasi benda di kelas eksperimen, 2) mengetahui kemampuan siswa menulis puisi sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pembelajaran menulis puisi tanpa menggunakan strategi imajinasi dengan eksplorasi benda di kelas kontrol, 3) mengetahui tingkat perbedaan kemampuan siswa menulis puisi di kelas kontrol dan di kelas eksperimen. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah metode eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan desain penelitian pre-test and post-test control group design. Populasi dipilih secara random. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh nilai rata-rata prates siswa kelompok eksperimen adalah 62 (cukup) dan nilai rata-rata pascates siswa adalah 73 (baik). Adapun nilai rata-rata prates di kelas kontrol adalah 64 (cukup) dan rata-rata nilai pascates adalah 68 (cukup). Setelah itu, ditemukan hipotesis dengan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,458 artinya Ha : μ1 ≠ μ2, dengan demikian Ha diterima. Artinya yaitu, terdapat perbedaan kemampuan menulis puisi di kelas eksperimen dan di kelas kontrol. Pengujian hipotesis ini memberikan gambaran bahwa pembelajaran menulis puisi melalui strategi imajinasi dengan eksplorasi benda efektif digunakan dalam menulis puisi.;---Writing poems often become the problems experienced by students in learning. Students often have difficulty to imagine and define the object of writing. Because of that, writer try to implement an Imagination Strategy with Objects Exploration for overcoming these problems. Purpose of the research is to: 1) determine the ability of students to write a poetry befote and after implement an Imagination Strategy with Objects Exploration in class experiments, 2) determine the ability of students to write poetry before and after learning how to write poetry without using Imagination Strategy with Objects Exploration in class control, 3) know the difference level of students ability to write poetry in class controls and class experiments. The method has performed using a quasi-experimental research with pre-test and post-test control group design. Population were selected randomly. Based on the study, the average pre-test value for student from class experiment is 62 and the average post-test value student is 73. The average pre-test value in class controls is 64 and the average post-test value is 68. The hypothesis discovered a value Sig. (2-tailed) 0,458; means Ha: μ1 ≠ μ2, with Ha accepted. Means that there is differences of poem writing skill on the experiment class and control class. Testing this hypothesis provides an overview that how to write poetry using an Imagination Strategy with Objects Exploration effective to student' ability in writing a poetry.
