Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas praktikum berbasis guided inquiry berdasarkan ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran dan kesesuaian perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel dari penelitian ini terdiri dari 38 siswa SMA kelas XI di salah satu sekolah negeri di Kota Bandung. Data penelitian dijaring melalui lembar observasi, penilaian kinerja, dan tes tertulis berupa pretest-posttest, serta kuesioner dan wawancara untuk mengetahui respon siswa dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran melalui metode praktikum berbasis guided inquiry efektif pada kinerja siswa sebagai proses pembelajaran dan hasil posttest sebagai produk pembelajaran. Hal tersebut menunjukkan, bahwa praktikum berbasis guided inquiry efektif berdasarkan kriteria ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Kesesuaian perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran dapat dikatakan efektif, karena hasil observasi menunjukkan persentase sebesar 88,68% dan termasuk pada kategori sangat baik. Aspek kemampuan yang paling menonjol dari siswa yaitu observasi, manipulasi, dan verifikasi, berdasarkan analisis kemampuan pada pengisian LKS. Pembelajaran melalui praktikum berbasis guided inquiry ini, efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa secara aktif. Menurut hasil respon siswa, menunjukkan hasil yang sangat positif karena terdapat sebanyak 96,86% dari jumlah respon siswa berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. ; The study purposed to test the effectiveness of laboratory guided inquiry based learning be based to reach learning goals and compatibility of learning plan and implementation. The studiy was used One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample consisted 38 students in second grade of high school in Bandung. The data was attained by observation sheets, working assessment and written test such as pretest-posttest, and also questioner and interview which was did to know students’ respond and teacher’s respond. The results show that a learning through laboratory guided inquiry method was effective for student performance as process and posttest as product of learning. It showed that this method was effective based to reach learning goals. Compatibility of learning plan and implementation was effective because observation result showed the percentage about 88.68% and included very well category. The standing out ability aspects were observation, manipulation, and verification based on analysing of worksheet fulfilment. Laboratory guided inquiry based learning was effective in increasing students motivation to study and some activities involved students actively. Students respond showed positive result because there was 96.86 % of the total students in learning process.
