Abstract

Peneliti ini dapat meneliti permasalah yang cenderung terjadi kelas III dalam pembelajaran IPS menunjukan kurangnya guru melibatkan siswa pada pelajaran IPS, Guru tidak memberikan kebebasan terhadap siswa karena didominasi metode pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode teacher centered, selain itu bagi beberapa siswa menggangap bahwa mata pelajaran IPS adalah mata pelajaran yang membosankan. Tujuan peneliti untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa melalui metode role playing. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada materi jual beli, hal ini ditandai nilai KKM masih rendah yaitu mencapai 61,21% padahal target yang diharapkan 65. Penelitian ini ditujukan pada penerapan metode Role playing dalam materi jual beli. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang diteliti, maka tujuan penulis adalah : (1) mengungkap pelaksanaan pembelajaran dalam mata pelajaran IPS pada materi jual beli, (2) mengunkap besar hasil belajar pada penggunaan metode Role Playing dalam mata pelajaran IPS pada materi jual beli.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart dengan dua siklus, tindakan ini disertai prosedur subtantif berupa lembar observasi dan LKS. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III yang berjumlah 31 orang dan tempat peneliti di SDN GG2 kecamatan Sukasari. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan metode Role Playing pada mata pelajaran IPS berupa proses pelaksanaan Role Playing yang dilakukan pada siklus I dan siklus II. Pelaksanaan pada siklus I kurang kondusif sedangkan pada siklus II respon siswa lebih baik dan lebih kondusif. Pada siklus I menunjukan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar pada siswa, diketahui pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata 61,21 dengan presentase ketuntasan belajar 87,09% dan siklus II memperoleh rata-rata 77,58 dengan presentase ketuntasan belajar 96,66%. Hampir keseluruhan siswa telah mencapai nilai ideal KKM yang diharapkan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, ada beberapa saran yang hendak disampaikan antara lain : (1) Guru diharapkan dapat memilih metode pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa dengan bakat dan minat siswa khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPS dan umumnya mata pelajaran yang lain. ; Researchers can examine the problems that tend to occur the third class in social studies learning shows a lack of teachers engage students in social studies teacher did not give freedom to the students because it is dominated learning methods by using teacher centered, in addition to some students declare that social studies is an eye what a boring lesson. Based on the problems studied, the purpose of the author is: (1) reveals the implementation of learning in social studies on the material buying and selling, (2) large reveal learning outcomes to the use of Role Playing in social studies on the materials used in the sale buy.Method this research is a classroom action research model and Mc Taggart Kemmis with two cycles, the action is accompanied by substantive procedures such as observation sheets and worksheets. Participants of this study was grade III totaling 31 people and a researcher at SDN GG2 Sukasari districts. The results using the method of Role Playing in social studies form Role Playing implementation process performed in the first cycle and the second cycle. Implementation of the first cycle is less favorable, while in the second cycle students better response and a more conducive. In the first cycle shows the increase in student learning outcomes, it is known the first cycle gained an average of 61.21 with a percentage of 87.09% and a mastery learning cycle II earned an average of 77.58 with a percentage of 96.66% mastery learning. Almost all students have reached the ideal value KKM expected. Based on these results, there are some suggestions that would be submitted, among others: (1) The teacher is expected to choose methods that suit the needs of students with talents and interests of students, especially in social studies and other subjects generally.
