Abstract

Kajian masalah dalam penelitian yang penulis lakukan mengenai Manfaat “DekorasiPatiseri” Pada Praktik Dekorasi Cakeke pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Tata Boga UPI PaketPastry Angkatan 2012 dan 2013.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran Manfaat “DekorasiPatiseri” Pada Praktik Dekorasi Cake berkaitan dengan persiapan praktik, proses pelaksanaan praktik danevaluasi praktik .Metode yang digunakanyaitumetodedeskriptifkuantitatif.Tekniksampel yang digunakandalampenelitianiniadalahsampling jenuh yang menunjukkansampelberjumlah28 orang.Teknikpengumpulan data menggunakan instrument berupaangket.Penelitianmenunjukkanbahwapadapersiapanpraktikmendapatkankriteriacukupbermanfaatakanpengetahuan yang dipahamimengenaipersiapanpraktikpadadekorasicake. Berdasarkanproses pelaksanaanpraktikmenunjukkanbahwakriteria yang didapatyaknikurangbermanfaatakanpengetahuan yang dipahamimengenai proses pelaksanaanpraktikpadadekorasicake. Berdasarkanevaluasipraktikmenunjukkanbahwakriteriayang didapatyaknicukupbermanfaatakanpengetahuan yang dipahamimengenaievaluasipraktikpadadekorasicake. Menuruthasilpenelitiansecarakeseluruhan, penelitianmendapatkankriteria yang cukupbermanfaatmengenaimanfaat “DekorasiPatiseri” padapraktikdekorasicake.Rekomendasidiajukankepadamahasiswa agar dapatmengembangkandanmeningkatkanpengetahuannyamengenaidekorasicake supayasaatpraktikmenghasilkankarya yang maksimaldenganmembacaartikeldansumberlainnya di internet, bukuresep,majalahdanjugaperbanyaklatihanmendekorasicake, jugaperbanyaklatihanpraktikterkaitdengandekorasicakeuntukmempersiapkandiridalampraktikdekorasicake serta mahasiswa disarankan memahami materi dengan baik dan tidak melupakan materi yang pernah diajarkandalammatakuliah “DekorasiPatiseri” supayadalampengisianangketselanjutnyamemilikihasil yang lebihbaik;--- Study problems in the research is the Benefits Of “DekorasiPatiseri” On Cake Decoration Practices to students of Pastry category from branch of 2012th and 2013thFood an Culinary Education Program’s Studying. The objective of this research is to obtain benefits of “DekorasiPatiseri” on cake decoration practices based on preparation practice,implementation practice and evaluation practice. The method is descriptive quantitative method. Sampling technique used in this research is a samplingjenuh that shows the sample amount 28 people. Data collection techniques using the instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The research showed that onthe preparation practiceobtain adequate useful and based on the implementation practice obtain deficient useful then based on the evaluation practice obtain adequate useful. All of the based on for the capabilities are understanding about cake decoration. According result of the research for totality obtain adequate useful related to the benefits of “DekorasiPatiseri” on cake decoration practices.Recommendations proposed to students of Pastry category in order to be able to develop and improve the knowledge about cake decoration for a maximal work on cake decoration practices by reading the articles and other resources on the internet, recipe book and magazine, then over and over training about cake decoration practices, and do not forget the knowledge in order to on questionnaire filling obtain a good result.
