Abstract

Di era globalisasi dan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, pondok pesantren mau tidak mau harus meningkatkan kualitas pendidikannya baik dibidang keagamaan, akademik maupun keterampilan hidup, sehingga pondok pesantren akan tetap kokoh berdiri tegap dan bisa mengikuti perkembangan dan kebutuhan zaman. Sebab pendidikan merupakan bekal mendasar bagi individu-individu hidup bermasyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah ingin mengetahui bagaimana implementasi pendidikan life skills di Pondok Pesantren Al-Hikmah 2 Benda Kabupaten Brebes, penelitian ini menggunakan metode Studi Kasus, pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumetasi. Berdasarkan data-data yang diperoleh, bahwa Pondok Pesantren Al-Hikmah 2 telah mampu mengimplementasikan pendidikan life skills. Implementasi pendidikan life skills di Pondok Pesantren Al-Hikmah 2 difokuskan pada kecakapan kepesantrenan yaitu santri yang senang mengaji (ta’lim,) siap mengajar (tarbiyah) siap berdakwah (li dakwah) dan mencetak santri yang memahami ilmu agama (taffaquh fiddin) beragama secara benar (tadyyun). Pendidikan life skills dikembangkan menjadi kecakapan kepesantrenan, kecakapan bahasa, kewirausahaan, serta bakat atau peminatan. Implementasi pendidikan life skills menggunakan tiga bentuk yaitu pertama wajib, kedua terarah, dan ketiga adalah terbuka.; In the era of globalization and the development of science and technology, Pondok Pesantren (islamic boarding school) whether you want it or not to improve the quality of education, both in religious, academic and life skills, so that the Pesantren (islamic boarding school) will remain firm stand tall and be able to follow the development and needs of the times. Because education is a fundamental provision for individuals living in a society. The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of life skills education in Pondok Pesantren Al-Hikmah 2 (islamic boarding school of Al-Hikmah 2) Benda Brebes, this research uses case study method, data collection using interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the data obtained, that the Pondok Pesantren Al-Hikmah 2 has been able to implement life skills education. Life skills education developed into uniquely pesantren skills, language skills, entrepreneurship, and talents or specialization. Implementation of life skills education to three forms: first mandatory, directed, and the third is open.
