Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya keterlibatan orangtua dalam intervensi dini anak Autisme Spectrum Disorder (ASD) dengan hambatan komunikasi, orangtua tidak mengetahui cara membantu anaknya dalam mengembangkan kemampuan komunikasi dan mereka tidak mampu melaksanakan intervensi kepada anak, untuk itu diperlukan suatu program intervensi dini yang dapat membantu orangtua memberikan intervensi kepada anaknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data kondisi objektif anak dan keluarga yang memiliki anak ASD, merumuskan program intervensi dini untuk mengembangkan kemampuan komunikasi anak ASD, dan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan intervensi dini untuk mengembangkan kemampuan komunikasi anak ASD. Informan utama adalah orangtua yang memiliki anak ASD dengan gangguan komunikasi berusia 5 tahun 4 bulan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif melalui teknik wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian yaitu: 1) anak memiliki hambatan komunikasi ekspresif di mana kemampuan komunikasi anak saat ini setara dengan anak usia 2 tahun. 2) kurangnya kesadaran orangtua memberikan intervensi dan stimulasi pada anak khususnya perkembangan komunikasi. 3) rumusan program intervensi dini berdasarkan data hasil penelitian terhadap orangtua dan anak, 4) orangtua dapat melaksanakan program intervensi kepada anak. Pentingnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman orangtua tentang ASD dan perkembangan anaknya, terutama komunikasi. Dengan pemahaman dan pengetahuan yang dimilikinya diharapkan orangtua dapat mengubah sikap dan dapat melakukan intervensi dini anaknya yang mengalami gangguan komunikasi. --- This research is motivated by the lack of parental involvement in early intervention children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with communication barriers, parents do not know how to help their children develop communication skills and are not able to carry out interventions to children, it is necessary for an early intervention program that can help parents interventions to their children. The aim of this study was to obtain data on the objective conditions of children and families who have children with ASD, formulate early intervention programs to develop communication skills children with ASD, and describe the implementation of early intervention for children with ASD develop communication skills. Key informants are parents who have children with ASD with communication disorders 5 years and 4 months old. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive method through interview and observation techniques. The results of the research are: 1) the child has a communication barrier where the expressive communication skills of children currently equivalent to 2 year olds. 2) a lack of parental awareness interventions and stimulation in children, especially the development of communication. 3) the formulation of early intervention programs based on data from a study of parents and children, 4) parents can implement intervention programs to children. The importance of parental knowledge and understanding of ASD and development of children, especially communication. With the understanding and knowledge of its expected parent can change attitudes and early intervention children with impaired communication.
