Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh permasalahan rendahnya kemampuan membaca huruf hijaiyah khususnya pada anak usia dini yang ada di daerah jawa barat , berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di RA Al-Fitroh mengenai kemampuan membaca huruf hijaiyah pada anak. Oleh karena itu Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu ingin mengetahui profil kemampuan membaca huruf hijaiyah sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan metode Asyarah, Penelitian ini menggunakan menggunakan penelitian metode Quasi Eksperimen.Subjek penelitian kelompok kontrol di RA Darussalam dan kelompok eksperimen di RA Al-Fitroh, pada subjek penelitian kelompok kontrol sebanyak 11 orang terdiri dari 6 laki-laki dan 5 perempuan dan pada kelompok eksperimen terdapat 12 orang terdiri dari 5 laki-laki dan 7 perempuan. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakuakan sebelum dilakuakan penerapan metode Asyarah pada kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen berada pada kategori cukup dan kurang. Adapun hasil penelitian setelah dilakukan penerapan metode Asyarah pada kelompok eksperimen terdapat peningkatan anak berada pada kategori baik dan cukup dan pada kelompok kontrol terdapat pada kategori cukup dan kurang. Diharapkan metode Asyarah dapat digunakan di sekolah sebagai media pembelajaran yang mendukung dan membantu guru dalam meningkatkan kemamapuan membaca huruf hijaiyah di pada anak usia dini. --- This research in the wake of the problems of lack of ability to read Arabic Alphabet (Hijaiyah Letter) especially young children in the area of western Java, based on the results of research conducted in RA Al-Fitroh regarding the ability to read Arabic Alphabet in children. Therefore the aim of this research is to know the ability to read the Arabic Alphabet before and after the applied Asyarah Methods. This research using quasi-experiment. The research subjects conducted in two kindergartens, control gorup in RA Darussalam and experimental group in RA Al-Fitroh. There are total of 11 children in control group consists six boys and five girls, and there are total of 12 children in experimental group consists five boys and seven girls. Research results before application of Asyarah Method in the control group there were seven children who are in the category of underdeveloped and five children who are in the category was to proceed, meanwhile in the experimental group there were six children who are in the category of underdeveloped and five children who were the category of being proceeds. The research results, after the application of the Asyarah Methods in the experimental group there was an improvement of eight children that are in the category of well developed and four children in middle category proceed and in the control group there were eight children in the category not growing and the three kids in the category was to proceed. Expected Asyarah method can be used in schools as a learning method that supports and helps teachers to improve the ability of reading Arabic Alphabet in early childhood.
