Abstract
Sunda merupakan daerah tempat tinggal penulis yang mana di dalamnya kaya akan Sunda merupakan daerah tempat tinggal penulis yang kaya akan beragam keunikan budaya, termasuk kuliner. Kue jajanan pasar yang nikmat, bentuknya menarik, dan namanya unik. Kue tradisional adalah budaya Indonesia yang harus dijaga kelestariannya. Sangat disayangkan apabila warisan ini tidak bisa terus dinikmati oleh semua masyarakat, khususnya generasi muda. Permasalahan tersebut melahirkan gagasan, mengangkat bentuk kue tradisional khas Sunda yang unik untuk dijadikan karya seni grafis. Pengembangan gagasan dan visualisasi bentuk-bentuk kuliner tradisional Sunda ke dalam karya seni grafis menjadi masalah dalam skripsi penciptaan ini, dengan tujuan agar penulis mampu mengekspresikan gagasan dan memvisualisasikan ide tersebut kedalam karya dengan teknik tusche method. Ada lima buah karya,dengan objek kue bandros, awug, putri noong dan gurandil. Dibuat dalam ukuran yang berbeda. melalui proses sketsa manual, pewarnaan dengan oil pastel, dipindahkan pada screen sebagai acuan cetak. visualisasi menghasilkan rekaman jejak tekstur, Keseluruhan karya ini diharapkan selanjutnya dapat menginspirasi seniman lain untuk menemukan inovasi dalam pencarian ide gagasan berkarya, juga mengingatkan kita kembali pada kue jajanan pasar khas Sunda. --- Sunda is the place where the author lives which has diversity of cultural uniqueness, including its culinary. The traditional snacks are delicious, have unique shapes and names. Indonesia's traditional snacks are one of culture that should be preserved. It is unfortunate if this heritage cannot continue to be enjoyed by all of today's society, especially the younger generation. This problem becomes an inspiration to create work of art based on the shape of Sundanese traditional snacks as it is unique to be a piece of graphic arts. The development of ideas and visualization forms of Sundanese traditinal culinary into work of graphic arts to be the problem of this paper of creation, thus the purpose of this paper of creation is to be able to express the ideas and visualize the Sundanese culinary into work of art with tusche method. There are five pieces of works: Bandros, Awug, Putri Noong and Gurandil, which are made in different sizes. Which are done in manual sketching, coloring them in oil pastel, and transferring them to the screen as the reference. The visualization of the works made feature of the recorded traces of textures. This work of art is expected to inspire other artists to find innovation in the search and processing of ideas that can be used as a source of ideas of work of art, also to remind us to the Sundanese traditional snacks.
