Abstract
Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan analisis siswa pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi di kelas XI IIS SMA Negeri 1 Cicalengka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan analisis siswa yang menggunakan model Cooperative Learning Tipe STAD dengan yang menggunakan metode ceramah. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas XI IIS 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan XI IIS 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan Design Non-Equivalent Kontrol Group Pre-test Post-test. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dalam bentuk pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data dengan statistik parametik yang meliputi uji beda rata-rata (paired samples t-test dan independent sample t-test), dan gain score dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 19. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan statistika parametrik melalui uji t independent (t-test independent) dan paired t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan analisis siswa dengan menggunakan model Cooperative Learning Tipe STAD pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode ceramah. Penggunaan model Cooperative Learning Tipe STAD direkomendasikan sebagai salah satu model pembelajaran yang efektif di ruang kelas karena mampu meningkatkan kemampuan analisis siswa dan keinginan belajar, serta dapat digunakan dalam berbagai mata pelajaran khususnya ekonomi. Peneliti menyarankan, untuk melakukan penelitian lanjutan dengan materi yang lebih khusus, sehingga kemampuan analisis siswa dapat terus meningkat.;---The problem of the study is lack of students’ analytical skills on economic subject at XI IIS class of Cicalengka 1 State Senior High School. The aim of the study is to know the differences of students’ analytical skills improvement with Cooperative Learning Model with STAD Type with The lecture method. The subjects of the study consist of two classes namely XI IIS Class as the experimental class and XI IIS 2 as the class control. The method of the study is Quasi experiment using non-equivalent kontrol group pre-test post-test design. The data collecting uses multiple choice test. The data analysis technique in this study is parametric statistic that consist of (paired samples t-test and independent sample t-test), and gain score by using SPSS software 19 version. The hypothesis a testing uses parametric statistic trough t test independent and paired t test. The result of the study show that the students have different achievement than class control with lecture method. The use of STAD as cooperative learning model is recommended as one of learning models which is effective in the classroom since it can increase the students’ analytical skill and the motivation to learn it also can be used in many of subjects especially economy. For futher researchers who want to research on this model they are suggested to do the further researchs by using specific material so that the students’ analytical skills will be improve continues.
