Abstract
Permasalahan yang ditemukan yaitu kurangnya kreativitas siswa ketika pembelajaran IPS berlangsung, pembelajaran cenderung penuh dengan hafalan dan pengetahun materi yang harus tercapai. Melihat keadaan tersebut perlu adanya sebuah upaya untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa, karena sebuah kreativitas sangatlah berguna untuk kehidupan yang akan datang. Kegiatan pemanfaatan sampah anorganik menjadi media scrapbook, diyakini dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa . Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan desain yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan MC Taggart yang setiap siklusnya terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Tahap pertama peneliti membuat rencana peningkatan kreativitas siswa dengan memanfaatkan sampah anorganik menjadi media scrapbook. Pada tahap ini peneliti terlebih dahulu membuat rencana perencanaan pembelajaran dengan melalui 3 siklus yang terdiri dari 2 tindakan. Selanjutnya pada pelaksanaan peningkatan kreativitas, peneliti melakukan kegiatan sesuai dengan rencana yang ada, yaitu pada tindakan 1 disetiap siklusnya peneliti memberi pengetahuan serta menampilkan media scrapbook untuk menstimulus dan menggali pendapat serta ide siswa, dan tindakan 2 merupakan pembuatan produk scrapbook oleh siswa. Kendala yang dihadapi adalah pengaturan waktu dalam pembuatan produk. Penilaian kreativitas dilihat dari indikator produk, inovasi, keluwesan, kelancaran, keaslian, dan keterampilan. Indikator produk merupakan indikator yang paling berhasil. Pemanfaatan sampah anorganik menjadi media scrapbook terbukti dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa, hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan presentase disetiap siklus.;-- The problem was the lack of students’ creativity when the students studied social sciences in learing process where the most of learning were memorizing and material knowledge that must be achieved. According to this case, it is necessary to improve the students’ creativity because creativity is very useful in the future life. Inorganic trash activities become scrapbook, was believed to increasing students’ creativity. The methode of this research was Classroom Action Reseach (CAR) which developed by Kemmis and MC Taggart which each cycle consists of planning, action, observation and reflection. In the first stage, the researcher made a plans to increase students’ creativty used inorganic trash as scrapbook mediation. At this stage, the researcher made the lesson plans with three cycles that consists of two action. Furththemore, the implementation of increasing students’ creativity, the researcher conducted the activities accordance with lesson plan that was made, it is on first action where in each cycles the researcher gave her knowledge and showed the scrapbook to stimulate and explore the students’ opinion and ideas. Second action was the creation of students’ scrapbook product. The problem faced was time management in making the product. The assessment of creativity seen from indicators of product, innovation, flexibility, smoothness, originality and skill. Product indicator is an indicator of the most successful. Utilization of inorganic trash into a scrapbook proved could increasing students' creativity, It is proved by the precentage increasing in each cycles.
