Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan dan menguji program modifikasi perilaku dengan fixed ratio with limited hold untuk meningkatkan perilaku belajar mandirisiswa kelas VIII SMP PGII 1 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Program modifiaksi perilaku dirancang berdasarkan studi tentang gejala rendahnya perilaku belajar mandiri, faktor penyebab rendahnya perilaku belajar mandiri, akibat rendahnya perilaku belajar mandiri, dan kebutuhan akan adanya program yang dapat meningkatkan perilaku tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen kuasi dan pretest-postest control group design dengan jumlah sample sebanyak 12 siswa. Secara umum, perilaku belajar mandiri siswa kelas VIII SMP PGII 1 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 berada pada kategori tinggi. Siswa yang memiliki skor perilaku belajar mandiri terendah menjadi subjek penelitian untuk ditingkatkan perilaku belajar mandirinya. Terdapat perbedaan antara nilai pretest dan post-test siswa setelah mengikuti program. Dengan demikian dapat ditafsirkan bahwa program modifikasi perilaku dengan fixed ratio with limited holdefektif untuk meningkatkan perilaku belajar mandiri siswa.;--- This study aims to formulate and examine the behavior modification program by fixed ratio with limited hold to enhance the student’s self-directed learning in VIII grades at SMP PGII 1 Bandung academic year 2015/2016. Behavior modification program design by the study of the symptoms of self-directed learning lowness, the factors causing low of self-directed learning, consequence of self-directed learning lowness and program needed to improve that behavior. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and pretest-postest control group design with 12 students as sample. In general, students of VIII grade in SMP PGII 1 Bandung are in high category of self-directed learning. Students with a lowest score of self-directed learning are become a subject of reasearche and be improved by the program. There is a difference in student’s score between pretest and postest after the program. Thus it can be interpreted that a behavior modification by fixed ratio with limited hold program is an effective way to improve student’s self-directed learning.
