Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena learning obstacle konsep pecahan yang diperoleh dari studi awal pada siswa kelas IV SDN Cijanggel Kecamatan Cisarua Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain DDR (Didactical Design Research). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi learning obstacle siswa, merancang desain didaktis berdasarkan learning obstacle tersebut, mengimplementasikan desain didaktis, menganalisis proses dan hasil implementasi desain sehingga dapat disusun desain didaktis alternatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi, wawancara, tes dan observasi. Temuan penelitian mengungkap bahwa terdapat lima tipe kesulitan belajar yang dialami siswa pada konsep pecahan yang digolongkan dalam kategori hambatan ontogeni, hambatan didaktis dan hambatan epistemologis. Desain didaktis yang dikembangkan terdiri dari 4 lesson design yang terdiri dari beberapa situasi didaktis. Desain didaktis konsep pecahan ini diimplementasikan pada pembelajaran di kelas III sekolah dasar. Hasil implementasi desain didaktis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kecenderungan pada respon tertentu pada siswa atas situasi didaktis yang diberikan. Sebagian besar siswa dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang ditetapkan pada setiap lesson design, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa desain didaktis ini dapat mengakomodasi learning trajectory siswa pada konsep pecahan meskipun beberapa siswa tampak masih mengalami learning obstacle tertentu. Desain didaktis alternatif dirancang untuk mengantisipasi learning obstacle dengan pemberian catatan penting yang harus diperhatikan guru dan tidak merubah secara total desain didaktis yang ada.; This research based on learning obstacle of fraction concept obtained from the initial study at fourth grade student of SDN Cijanggel Kecamatan Cisarua Kabupaten Badung Barat. The approach used in this research is the qualitative approach through the design of Didactical Design Research (DDR). The purpose of the research is to explore student’s learning obstacle of fraction concept, to design the didactical design based on these obstacle, to implement the didactical design, to analyze the process and result of didactical design implementation in order to arranged alternative didactical design. Technique of collecting data uses documentation, interview, test and observation. The research findings reveal that there are five types of students learning obstacle on the fraction concept which can be classified in category of ontogenical obstacle, didactical obstacle and epistemological obstacle. It was develop didactical design that consist of four lesson design, each lesson design consist of several didactical situation. These didactical design was implemented in mathematic lesson in third grade of elementary school. The result of implementation showed that there are dominantly specific students response to the didactical situation given. Most of student can achieve learning objectives set in each lesson design, this shows that the didactical design can accommodate students learning trajectory of fraction concept, although some students seemed still experiencing specific learning obstacle. The alternative didactical design was designed to anticipate learning obstacle by give notes that must be attention by teacher and didn’t changed the didactical design totally.
