    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi belajar siswa SMK melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery menggunakan LKS pada kompetensi dasar menerapkan prinsip teknik kimiawi. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus, tiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu, perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X jurusan Teknologi Pengolahan Hasil Pertanian di SMK Negeri 1 Cidaun tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Data penelitian merupakan hasil kompetensi siswa pada aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik yang didapatkan berdasarkan observasi dan tes. Pada kompetensi aspek kognitif menunjukkan adanya peningkatan persentase hasil belajar pada setiap siklus yaitu 45,83% pada siklus I, 58,33% pada siklus II dan 75% pada siklus III. Ketercapaian pada aspek afektif yaitu 37,5% pada siklus I, 66,67% pada siklus II, 91,67% pada siklus III. Sedangkan pada aspek psikomotorik pada ketercapaian kompetensi siswa adalah 70,83% pada siklus I, 87,5% pada siklus II dan 100% pada siklus III. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery dapat meningkatkan kompetensi belajar siswa dengan mencapai rata-rata nilai KKM 75 pada kompetensi dasar menerapkan prinsip teknik kimiawi. ; This Study aims to develop vocational students’ competency by appliying discovery learning model used worksheets in the competency based by applying chemistry technique principal. This study is Class Action Research that was done in three cycles; every cycle consists of four steps namely planning, doing action, observation and reflection. The subject of this study is Agricultural Product Technology students in class X in SMK Negeri 1 Cidaun 2015/2016. The data of the study is the results of the students’ competency in the aspect of cognitive, affective and psych motoric that can be get based on observation and tests. Cognitive aspect of competency showed that there was increasing percentage of the results of learning in every cycle; cycle I is 45,83; cycle II is 58,33% and cycle III is 75%. Achievement in the affective aspect in cycle I is 37,5%; cycle II is 66,67% and cycle III is 91,675. Meanwhile, in the psych motoric achievement of students’ competency is 70,83% in cycle I, 87,5% in cycle II and 100% in cycle III. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that applying discovery learning model can develop the students’ learning competency that achieves average value 75 in based competency by applying chemistry technique principal.
