Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi belum adanya progam intervensi yang dikembangkan untuk anak dengan autis yang mengikuti pendidikan di taman kanak-kanak. Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan mengembangkan program intervensi yang dapat diterapkan oleh guru dalam kegiatan di kelas untuk mengakomodasi kebutuhan belajar anak dengan autis. Program dikembangkan berdasarkan kondisi perkembangan anak dan proses intervensi guru sehari-hari. Profil perkembangan diperoleh melalui asesmen perkembangan, dan data tentang proses intervensi guru diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara. Penelitian dilakukan untuk anak TK kelas B, yaitu rentang usia 5 s/d 6 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang terdiri dari dua tahap penelitian, dimana penelitian tahap pertama mempengaruhi penelitian tahap kedua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan program intervensi yang dikembangkan fungsional diterapkan untuk mengakomodasi kebutuhan belajar anak dengan autis di kelas. Fungsional program intervensi dapat dilihat pada nilai praktis, kebermanfaatan dan kesesuaian isi program. Program intervensi yang dikembangkan mudah dipahami oleh guru, karena aktifitas dalam program dipaparkan dengan jelas pada setiap tahapannya. Pelaksanaan program intervensi ini mengarahkan keterlibatan semua anak untuk melakukan eksplorasi terhadap lingkungan atau aktiftitas belajar dengan cara bermain.; The study is based on the lack of intervention program developed for children with autism in kindergarten. The aims of this study is to develop intervention program that can be applied by the teacher for accomodating the learning needs of children with autism in classroom. The program was develop based on the condition of the child’s development and teacher intervention process. The profile of child’s development is obtained from development assessment, and the data on teacher intervention process is obtained from observation and interview. This study is conducted for kindergarten class (B), that is in range of age 5 till 6 years old. This approach is divided into two stages of research, which the first stage affect the second stage. The result of the study showed that intervention program that is developed functionally applied for accommodating the learning needs of children with autism in the classroom. The functional of intervention program can be seen in practical value, usefulness and the compatibility of program. The developed intervention program is easily understood by the teacher, because activities on this program are clearly described in each stage. This implementation of intervention program directs the involvement of all children to explore the learning proccess by playing.
