Abstract

Ieu Panalungtikan boga udagan pikeun ngadéskripsikeun kamampuh siswa ngalarapkeun undak usuk basa Sunda dina surat pribadi. Bangbaluh nu karandapan ku siswa dina ngagunakeun undak usuk basa Sunda dina nulis surat pribadi nya éta loba kénéh siswa nu nganggap yén nulis surat pribadi téh hésé sarta nalika nulis siswa can bisa ngagunakeun undak usuk basa Sunda nu bener. Dina hal ieu, guru miboga peran penting dina ngajarkeun nulis surat pribadi ka siswana. Dina ieu panalungtikan digunakeun métode déskriptif. Ari data dikumpulkeun maké téhnik obsérvasi jeung téhnik angkét. Sumber data panalungtikan ieu nya éta siswa kelas VIII A SMP Kartika XIX-1 Bandung nu jumlahna 20 siswa. Tina hasil panalungtikan kapanggih yén kamampuh siswa dina ngalarapkeun undak usuk basa Sunda data surat pribadi kaasup cukup. tina 20 siswa, 4 siswa kaasup kategori alus pisan, 9 siswa kaasup kategori alus, 2 siswa kaasup kategori cukup, 4 siswa kaasup kategori kurang, jeung 1 siswa kaasup kategori goréng. Jadi 75% lulus jeung 25% teu lulus. Kecap UUBS nu digunakeun ku siswa sakabéhna aya 633 kecap, tina 90 kecap loma (57 kecap merenah, jeung 33 kecap nu teu merenah); 342 kecap lemes keur batur (244 kecap merenah, jeung 98 kecap nu teu merenah); jeung 202 kecap lemes keur sorangan (157 kecap nu merenah jeung 45 kecap nu teu merenah). Lamun diperséntasikeun kamampuh siswa dina ngagunakeun UUBS ragam basa loma nepi ka 63% (Cukup), ragam basa lemes keur batur nepi ka 71% (Cukup) jeung ragam basa lemes keur sorangan nepi ka 78% (Alus). Kecap Galeuh: Bahasa Sunda, Undak Usuk Basa Sunda, Nulis Surat Pribadi Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa menggunakan undak usuk basa Sunda dalam surat pribadi. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh siswa dalam menggunakan undak usuk bahasa Sunda adalah banyak siswa yang menganggap bahwa menulis surat pribadi itu sulit dan ketika menulis siswa belum bisa menggunakan undak usuk bahasa Sunda yang benar. Dalam hal ini, guru mempunyai peran penting dalam mengajarkan menulis surat pribadi kepada siswanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik observasi dan teknik angket. Sumber data penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VIII A SMP KARTIKA XIX-1 Bandung yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Dari hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam menggunakan undak usuk bahasa Sunda data surat pribadi termasuk kategori cukup. diantaranya: dari 20 siswa, 4 siswa termasuk kategori baik sekali, 9 siswa termasuk kategori baik, 2 siswa termasuk kategori cukup, 4 siswa termasuk kategori kurang, dan 1 siswa termasuk kategori sangat kurang. Jadi 75% lulus dan 25% tidak lulus. Kalimat UUBS yang digunakan oleh siswa ada 633 kalimat. Dari 90 ‘basa loma’, 57 kata tepat dan 33 kata kurang tepat. Dari 342 ‘basa lemes keur batur’, 244 kata tepat dan 98 kata kurang tepat. Dari 202 ‘basa lemes keur sorangan’, 157 kata tepat dan 45 kata kurang tepat. Jika dipersentasikan kemampuan siswa dalam menggunakan UUBS ‘basa loma’ sampai dengan 63% (Cukup), ‘ragam basa lemes keur batur’ 71% (Cukup), dan ‘ragam basa lemes keur sorangan’ 78% (Baik). Kata Kunci: Undak Usuk Basa Sunda, Nulis Surat Pribadi This research aims to define the students ability in using Sundanese language level applied in a private letter. The problem that have been facing by most students that considered writting private letter is hard and their ability in using Sundanese language level apllied is not good enough. In this situation, teacher has the key role in teaching their students how to write a private letter. This research is using a descriptive method. The data was collected by observation and questionnaire technique. The source of this research is the 8th grader of SMP Kartika XIX-1 Bandung and consist of 20 students. This research found that the student’s ability in using Sundanese language level apllied in private letter is good enough. To mention a few: among 20 students, 4 students are in very good category. 9 students are in good category, 2 students are in good enough category, 4 students are in less category, and 1 students is very less category. Therefore, the percentage of students who surpassed the exam is 75%, while the ones who do not surpassed is 25%. Sundanese language level applied sentence that has been used by students are 633 sentences. Among 90 ‘basa loma’, 57 words were exactly precise, while 33 words were less precise. Among 342 ‘basa lemes keur batur’, 244 words were exactly precise, while 98 words less precise. Among 202 ‘basa lemes keur sorangan’,157 words were exactly precise, while 45 words were less precise. In percentage, the student’s ability in using Sundanese language level apllied ‘basa loma’ up to 63% (good enough), ‘ragam basa lemes keur batur’ is 71% (good enough), and ‘ragam basa lemes keur sorangan’ is 78% (good).
