Abstract

Pembinaan civic disposition pada pembelajaran PKn di kelas X IPS I SMA Negeri 7 Bandung kurang begitu ditekankan. Hal ini terlihat ketika pembelajaran PKn berlangsung, peserta didik cenderung pasif dan kurang antusias karena guru hanya menggunakan media pembelajaran yang bersifat konvensional. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, salah satu alternatif pembinaan civic disposition peserta didik dalam pembelajaran PKn adalah dengan menerapkan media komik berbasis nilai. Untuk menunjang penelitian ini, maka digunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran PKn dengan menggunakan media komik berbasis nilai dilaksanakan selama tiga siklus dengan menggunakan pendekatan scientific yang merupakan metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan pada kurikulum 2013. Setiap kelompok mendiskusikan permasalahan yang terdapat dalam komik berbasis nilai serta mencari solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Selain itu, peserta didik dalam kelompok juga harus mengklarifikasi nilai–nilai karakter yang terdapat dalam komik berbasis nilai tersebut. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa karakter kewarganegaraan (civic disposition) peserta didik mengalami peningkatan setelah menggunakan media komik berbasis nilai pada setiap siklusnya. Karakter kewarganegaraan peserta didik yang mengalami peningkatan adalah tanggungjawab, kedisiplinan, kemandirian, sikap demokratis, jujur dan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Berdasarkan pemaparan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran komik berbasis nilai dalam pembelajaran PKn berhasil meningkatkan civic disposition peserta didik. Kata Kunci : Komik berbasis Nilai, PKn, Civic Diposition. Fostering civic disposition of civic education learning in the class X IPS 1 of SMA Negeri 7 Bandung was less stressed. This was seen when the learning process occurs, students tend to be passive and less enthusiastic because teachers only used conventional learning media. Based on these problems, one way to foster students’ civic disposition is by implementing value-based comics as a media. To support this research, a Classroom Action Research is applied as a method. The data collection technique used in this research was interviews, observation and documentation. This research was conducted during three cycles within using a scientific approach as the learning method. This scientific approach is a learning method that applied in the curriculum of 2013. In this research, each group discussed the problems which are contained in the value-based comic and then found the solutions to overcome those problems. Additionally, in group, the students must clarify the character values which are contained in those value-based comics. The result of this research revealed that in each cycle the students’ civic disposition has increased after using value–based comics as the media. Students’ civic dispositions which have been increased are responsible, discipline, independence, democratic attitude, honest and critical thinking. Thus, it can be concluded that the value-based comic as an instructional media is succeeded to improve students’ civic disposition in the learning of civic education.
