Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Programmable Logic Control (PLC) dengan menggunakan media Trainer Hydraulic. Penggunaan media trainer diharapkan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa tingkat XII Kontrol Mekanik SMKN 1 Cimahi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan Quasi Experimental Design. Penelitian dilakukan dengan memberikan dua perlakuan berbeda terhadap dua kelompok siswa. Pertama, kelompok eksperimen yaitu XII Kontrol Mekanik B mendapatkan pengajaran dengan media trainer, kedua kelompok kontrol yaitu XII Kontrol Mekanik A hanya diberikan media simulasi pada cx-programmer. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan untuk kedua kelas tersebut yaitu Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa dilihat dari rata-rata gain (peningkatan) antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan media Trainer Hydraulic dapat membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar pada pembelajaran Programmable Logic Control (PLC). This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in learning Programmable Logic Control (PLC) using Hydraulic Trainer media. The use of media trainer is expected to improve student learning outcomes in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor. This research was conducted at the student level Mechanical Control XII SMK 1 Cimahi. The method used is an experimental method by Quasi Experimental Design. The study was conducted by giving two different treatment of two groups of students. First, the experimental group which controls XII Mechanics B gets teaching with media trainer, a second control group of XII Control Mechanic A simulation is only given media on cx-programmer. The learning model used for these two classes namely Inquiry Learning Model. The results showed that there are significant differences in student learning outcomes seen from the average gain (increase) between the experimental and control classes. From these results it can be concluded that the Hydraulic Trainer media can assist students in improving learning outcomes in learning Programmable Logic Control (PLC).
