Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran pemahaman konsep siswa SMK dalam materi elastisitas menggunakan asesmen autentik sebagai bentuk penerapan Kurikulum 2013. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Experimental dengan desain One-Shot Case Study. Penelitian dilakukan di salah satu SMK negeri di Kota Bandung dengan melibatkan 32 siswa kelas X Teknik Komputer Jaringan. Instrumen yang digunakan diantaranya berupa tes pilihan ganda diperluas, tes uraian, tes lisan, serta penugasan berupa lembar kegiatan siswa dan poster. Data diolah dengan cara meninjau hasil dari beberapa tes kemudian mencari persentase ketercapaian dari setiap indikator pemahaman konsep. Persentase yang diperoleh didukung dengan data dari penilaian lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa hanya memiliki dua dari tujuh kemampuan dalam indikator pemahaman konsep, yakni mencontohkan dan merangkum dengan persentase masing-masing sebesar 72% dan 75%. Sedangkan lima dari tujuh kemampuan lainnya hanya dimiliki sebagian kecil atau hampir setengahnya saja. Kelima kemampuan tersebut diantaranya menafsirkan (31%), mengklasifikasikan (19%), menyimpulkan (22%), membandingkan (9%), serta menjelaskan (44%). Kata kunci : Asesmen Autentik, Pemahaman Konsep, Elastisitas This research aims to get an overview of vocational high school students’ conceptual understanding in the elasticity theory by using authentic assessment as an implementation of Kurikulum 2013. The research method used was Pre-Experimental with a One-Shot Case Study design. The research was conducted in one of vocational high school in Bandung, involving 32 tenth grade Computer Network Technique students. Instruments used are include expanded multiple choice test, essay test, oral tests, and student activity sheets and posters as student assignments. Data processed by reviewing the result of some test and then look for the percentage of achievement of each conceptual understanding indicator. Percentage supported by the data obtained from the other assessment. The result showed that most students had only two of the seven conceptual understanding indicators, namely exemplifying and inferring which each percentage is 72% and 75%. While five of the seven other capabilities processed only a small part or almost half of amount student. The five is the ability of interpreting by 31%, classifying by 19%, summarizing by 22%, comparing 9%, and explaining 44%. Key words: Assessment Authentic, Conceptual Understanding, Elasticity
