Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pendidikan akhlak di sekolah yang belum optimal meningkatkan akhlak mulia siswa. Siswa mampu menjaga salat, rutin membaca Al-Quran dan berbusana muslim di sekolah, namun tidak demikian di luar sekolah.Bertolak dari kondisi tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan model pendidikan akhlak melalui kemitraan sekolah dan rumah untuk meningkatkan akhlak mulia siswa.Teori yang digunakanadalahteoripendidikanakhlakdari Miskawaihdan Al-Ghazalisertastrategi membangun kemitraansekolahdanrumahdari Daradjat dkk., Thabil dan Lickona. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalahpendekatankualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian R&D yang diadopsi dari Borg & Gall. Teknik pengumpulan datanya terdiri dari observasi partisipatif, wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan angket. Teknik analisis data kualitatif merujuk pada model interaktif dari Miles & Huberman. Sementara teknik analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas dan gain score. Hasil penelitian di SMPIT Al-Azhar Kota Jambi adalah: (1) Profil akhlak mulia siswa pada kategori sedang; (2) Model pendidikan akhlak di sekolah ini adalah model internalisasi nilai melalui peneladanan, pembiasaan dan pemotivasian; (3) Prosesnya telah terintegrasi ke dalam KBM di kelas, budaya sekolah dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler; (4) Tidak adanya keselarasan nilai antara yang diterima siswa di sekolah dan di rumah menjadi kendala yang tengah dihadapi sekolah; (5) Pengembangan Model Pendidikan Akhlak Melalui Kemitraan Sekolah dan Rumah (Model PAMKSR) di sekolah ini menghasilkan produk: (a) Buku Pedoman Praktik Pelaksanaan Pendidikan Akhlak Melalui Kemitraan Sekolah dan Rumah; (b) Buku Kemitraan Sekolah-Rumah (BKS-R); (6) Model PAMKSR terbukti efektif meningkatkan akhlak mulia siswa. Peneliti merekomendasikan penelitian pengembangan Model Pendidikan Akhlak Melalui Kemitraan Sekolah, Rumah dan Masyarakat. Kata kunci: pendidikan akhlak, kemitraan sekolah dan rumah, akhlak mulia. This study was conducted due to the concern of the poor quality of akhlaq education at schools in Indonesia. Example for this could be seen from students’ contradictory attitude and behaviour performed inside and outside of their school life. Students would perform pray, read Al-Quran and wear religious clothes at school yet at other occasion outside school they would act in the opposite way. Taking into account this condition, this study aims to propose a model of akhlaq education through school and home partnership which could effectively improve students’ akhlaq capacity. The akhlaq education theory from Miskawaih and Al-Ghazali, and the strategy of school and home partership from Darajat et al, Thabil and Lickona were adopted as the basis of theoretical concepts. Qualitative and quantitative approach within R&D method adopted from Borg & Gall was utilized in this study. The data gathering techniques covered participative observation, interview, documentation study and questionnaire. The qualitative data were analyzed using interactive model from Miles and Huberman, where as the the quantitative data were examined through normality test, homogenity test and gain score test. The findings of this research indicate: (1) The virtuous akhlaq profile of the students at SMPIT Al-Azhar Jambi falls under average (medium) category; (2) The model of akhlaq education at this school was akhlaq value internalization through exemplarity, consistency and motivation; (3) the process had been integrated in the teaching and learning activity in the classroom, school culture and extracurricular activity; (4) disimilar value accepted by students at school and at home had become the major problem at school; (5) The Model of Akhlaq Education through Home and School Partership (PAMKSR Model) could provide; (a) The guideline book of the implementation practice of akhlaq education through school and home partership; (b) The book of School-Home Partnership (BKS-R); (6) This PAMKSR model were effectively to improve the virtuous akhlaq of students.Recommendation put forward for further research in this study emphazised primarily on developing model of akhlaq education through school, home and society partnership.
