Abstract
Pembelajaran adalah aktivitas mencari kebenaran, menggunakan kebenaran, dan mengembangkannya untuk kepentingan pemenuhan kehidupan manusia, pembelajaran juga dilaksanakan untuk membantu siswa dalam mempermudah proses belajarnya agar mendapatkan hasil belajar yang diinginkan. Adanya program pembelajaran dalam suatu inovasi pendidikan harus melihat bagaimana ketercapaian hasil belajar yang dicapai setelah proses belajar berlangsung. Tujuan umum pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaaan pembelajaran antara siswa SMP terbuka dan SMP reguler pada mata pelajaran IPS, sedangkan tujuan khusus yakni untuk memperoleh data dilihat dari: 1) motivasi belajar siswa. 2) kemandirian belajar siswa. 3) hasil belajar siswa (nilai ulangan harian I, nilai ulangan harian II, ujian tengah semester). Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif studi komparatif. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Ngamprah yang didalamnya termasuk siswa SMP terbuka yang berjumlah total 382 siswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan ialah cluster sample. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket, studi dokumentasi, dan observasi sebagai pendukung. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji-t dua sampel. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan dilihat dari motivasi belajar dan kemandirian belajar, serta tidak terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar dilihat dari nilai ulangan harian I, nilai ulangan harian II, dan ujian tengah semester. Berdasarkan rumusan tujuan khusus dapat kesimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara siswa SMP terbuka dengan siswa SMP regular dilihat dari aspek motivasi belajar siswa dan aspek kemandirian belajar siswa serta tidak terdapat perdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara siswa SMP terbuka dengan siswa SMP regular dilihat dari pengetahuan materi IPS. Berdasarkan kesimpulan tersebut bahwa motivasi belajar dan kemandirian belajar lebih tinggi tidak menentukan hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi pula. Saran peneliti bagi sekolah yaitu hasil penelitian ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai informasi untuk terus meningkatkan motivasi dan kemandirian belajar siswa agar meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci: pembelajaran, hasil belajar, SMP terbuka, SMP reguler, motivasi belajar, kemandirian belajar. Learning is the activity of searching for the truth , using the truth , and to develop it for the benefit of the fulfillment of human life , learning is also implemented to help students in facilitating the process of learning in order to obtain the desired the result of learning. Program of learning in innovation of education should see how the result of learning which reached after process of learning. General purpose in this research is to knowing the different about learning between student Junior High School of Terbuka and Student Junior High School of Reguler refer to social sciences meanwhile the particular purpose is to obtain data refer to: 1) student’s learning motivation. 2) student’s self learning. 3) student’s learning outcome (exam score I, exam score II, mid test semester). The approach of research which is used quantitative approach with expost facto methods. Population of research is students in the eighth grade at Junior High School of Ngamprah 1, included student of High School of Terbuka as many as 382 students. The sampling technique is the cluster sample. The instruments which are used questionnaire, study documentation and observation as support. The data were analysed by using dependent sign test. The result of research shows that the different of refer to learning motivation and self of learning, and there was no different result of learning refer to exam score I, exam score II, and mid test semester. The conclusion is; There was significant differentiation between student of a Junior High School of Terbuka and Junior high school of reguler refer to student’s learning motivation and student’s self of learning and there was no significant differentation result of learning between student of Junior High School of Terbuka and student of Junior high school of reguler in the subject of social sciences. Based on the conclusion more motivation dan self learning didn’t make better learning outcome. Result of this research can be able to use as information for increase student motivation and self of learning to increase students’ learning outcome.
