Abstract

Menurunnya daya saing pada UMKM alas kaki di Sentra Alas Kaki Cibaduyut menjadi latar belakang dari penelitian ini. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi daya saing Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah. Adapun variabel yang diduga dapat mempengaruhi daya saing yaitu Kompetensi Pengusaha, Inovasi dan Kualitas Produk. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survey eksplanatory dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan penyebaran kuisioner. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh pengusaha Alas Kaki di Sentra Alas Kaki Cibaduyut Kota Bandung, penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik acak sederhana dan sampel penelitian sebanyak 160 orang pengusaha. Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kompetensi Pengusaha di Sentra Alas Kaki Cibaduyut berada pada kategori cukup, Inovasi pada kategori cukup dan Kualitas Produk pada kategori cukup baik, masing-masing berpengaruh terhadap daya saing Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah Alas Kaki Cibaduyut di Kota Bandung. Kata Kunci: kompetensi pengusaha, inovasi, kualitas produk, daya saing, usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah. The decreasing of competitiveness on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) at Footwear Center Cibaduyut is the background of this research. The aim is to analyze the factors that influence competitiveness of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. The variables that expected could influence competitiveness of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises are Entrepreneur Competence, Innovation and Product Quality. The method that used in this research is explanatory survey with data collection techniques through interview and distributing questionnaires. Population on this research are all footwear entrepnereurs in Footwear Center Cibaduyut Bandung. This research use simple random sampling technique and the sample are 160 person of entrepreneurs. The data was analyzed by multiple linear regression. The result of this research found that Entrepreneur Competence of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) at Footwear Center Cibaduyut in enough category, Innovation in enough category and Product Quality in good enough category. Each of these variables is influence to competitiveness of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises of Footwear Center Cibaduyut in Bandung.
