Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan konsep siswa setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan mengetahui profil keterampilan proses sains selama proses pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Experiment dengan desain one group pretest – posttest. Subyek penelitian adalah 41 siswa kelas X-MIA 1 di salah satu SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Cirebon. Peningkatan penguasaan konsep diperoleh dari normalisasi gain hasil pre-test dan post-test. Profil keterampilan proses sains diperoleh dari hasil penilaian lembar observasi kinerja siswa yang memuat aspek KPS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai gain yang dinormalisasi dari penguasaan konsep sebesar 0,59 dengan kategori sedang. Profil keterampilan proses sains siswa sebesar 66,3% dengan kategori “terbatas”. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep siswa SMA materi hukum newton tentang gerak dan mengetahui profil keterampilan proses sains siswa. Kata kunci : Model pembelajaran berbasis proyek, penguasaan konsep, keterampilan proses sains This research aims to improve the student's mastery of the concept after implementing a model project-based learning and knowing the science process skills profile during the process of project-based learning. The research method used was Pre-Experiment with one group pretest-posttest design. The subject of the research was 41 grade X-MIA-1 in one of senior high school in Cirebon Regency. Increased mastery of the concepts obtained from normalization gain the result of pre- test and post-test. Science process skills profiles obtained from the results of the assessment of student's performance observation sheets that contain KPS aspects. The results showed that the values of the normalized gain mastery of 0.59 with medium category. Science process skills profile of the students amounted to 66,3% with "limited" category. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that project-based learning models can increase the mastery concept high school students newton's laws of motion topic and knowing the science process skills profile of students.
